01. School profile
里昂政治学院(法文:Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Lyon,又名Sciences Po Lyon)是一所公立高等教育机构,建立于1948年,是法国十所政治学院之一,专门研究人类学和社会科学。
Focusing on the multidisciplinary nature of training, the School focuses on the four basic disciplines of history, law, political science and economics, and combines professional knowledge in the fields of management, information media, language and social civilization to carry out humanities and social sciences education, aiming to "train future managers for the public and private sectors".
The Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Lyon has cultivated a large number of political elites for France's political circles, and in January 2020, it was fully merged into the Université de Lyon and became a university under the University of Lyon according to the requirements of France's "University of Excellence Program".
02. Campus distribution
Sciences Po Lyon has two campuses: the historic campus in Lyon and the new campus in Saint-Etienne, inaugurated in 2017.
The Lyon campus is located in the heart of Berthelow in the 7th arrondissement of Lyon, covering an area of almost 8,000 square meters on the banks of the Rhône. The campus consists of four buildings, including three large lecture halls, dozens of classrooms, a library, and a cafeteria. 03. Professional setting
The program at Sciences Po Lyon lasts for five years, and students have to pass a competitive entrance exam to be admitted after obtaining their high school diploma. After five years, students will be awarded a diploma at master's level and will be recognized both in France and internationally.
The five years of study are divided into two cycles:
- First cycle
The first three years are multidisciplinary undergraduate studies, during which students will learn the fundamentals of history, law, political science, and economics, and lay a solid foundation in a comprehensive culture. In the third year, students must undertake a one-year internship in France or abroad.

04. International strategy
Since 1990, Sciences Po Lyon has implemented an international promotion strategy based on five pillars, which have given Lyon Political Science a high international prestige, reaching out to the world and attracting more students from all over the world:
1) strengthening international partnerships and cooperation;
2) Promotion of the school's training programs abroad: promotion at events such as the NAFSA Expo (Association of International Education) and the EAIE (European Association of International Education) conferences;
3) Expansion of training programs internationally: 7 College Diploma (DE), joint degree programs and 12 guest lecturers per year;
4) to encourage the international mobility of university teaching and administrative staff;
5) Strengthened student exchange programs: The university opens its doors to 250 international students from all over the world, while third-year students fly to numerous partner universities.
