This Friday (10th and 4th) is Singapore Children's Day, and the school organises a celebration with a stage set up in the atrium of Suntec City Buildings 3 and 4 for children to perform, and teachers, students and parents to celebrate Children's Day.
After class in the afternoon, I went to Suntec City to watch the little granddaughter perform the cheerful music and joyful atmosphere, as well as the lively and lovely smiles of the children, which infected everyone present.
The theme of this performance is love, self-confidence, and courage. I think this is the most important and indispensable factor in a person's personality.
The K1 and K2 children on stage performed to the rhythm of the music, and a few children in the Nursery class were obviously frightened by the strong music and the crowd of people in the dark. Two teachers crouched on the edge of the stage, holding the crying children and performing with them.
In the eyes of many, the children's performances may not be perfect, but the teachers and parents gave the children a round of applause and encouraged their performances. Maybe they cry for the first or second time, and if they go on stage to practice a few more times, they will be bolder.
Life is a huge stage, and everyone has to play their role well. From an early age, children are trained to be not afraid of the stage, bravely and confidently show themselves, so that they can perform the big drama of their own life in the future. If a child is disqualified from the stage because a child is afraid of the stage and the whole performance becomes imperfect, it may have a greater psychological impact on them than if the performance is imperfect.
This kindergarten is different from other schools in that it focuses on the cultivation and development of children's personalities, believing that every child is unique.
Every time the school holds a big celebration, it will be held in Suntec City, which is very crowded, and all children will participate. The school's intention is self-evident, that is, to allow children to overcome their shyness and fear, so that they can stand bravely and confidently on the stage and show themselves at a young age. This is very important for children's growth, and when they grow up to go into society, they will not be afraid to face strange people and unfamiliar places, and have the courage to try new things, which is undoubtedly of great significance to children's future success.
Flowers are beautiful when they come in different colors; The buildings are scattered and look interesting; The music has a tone and a frustration, and it sounds good. The same is true for people, everyone should show their own personality, and the world is colorful.
Parents should tap their children's own talents, cultivate and educate them, and don't always regard other people's children as a mirror of their own children, because no matter how hard parents try, their own children cannot become other people's children.
