On October 1, 2024, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Chinese Ambassador to Niger Jiang Feng made a special trip to the 24th batch of Chinese medical teams to visit and comfort all the medical team members, accompanied by Wang Hao, counselor of the embassy, and Li Hanchen, secretary of the Economic and Commercial Office.
On behalf of the Embassy, Ambassador Jiang Feng expressed holiday greetings to all the team members and spoke highly of the positive contributions made by the 24th batch of Chinese medical teams to Niger since their arrival in June this year to the development of Niger's national medical industry and the friendly relations between China and Niger. Jiang Feng said that the work of the medical team is not only a microcosm of China's medical assistance, but also a bridge for China-Nepal friendship, and plays an important role in strengthening the friendship between China and Nepal. Despite the difficult conditions in the recipient countries, the team members, under the leadership of team leader Zheng Zhida, worked hard to overcome many difficulties and always stuck to their posts, demonstrating the noble professionalism and selfless dedication of Chinese medical workers.
Jiang Feng stressed that as an important aid force of the Chinese government stationed in Niger, the medical team not only shoulders the responsibility of treating diseases and saving people, but also undertakes the mission of connecting the hearts of the people of China and Niger. Through the hard work of the medical team, it has not only improved the medical and health level of Niger, but also further deepened the friendly feelings between the two peoples, and made tangible contributions to the promotion of China-Nepal friendship. It is hoped that the team members will not forget their original aspirations, keep their mission in mind, further improve their political position, do their own work with a high sense of mission and responsibility, and benefit more Nigerien people with superb medical skills. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen safety measures, remain vigilant and pay attention to their own health and safety.

This visit not only made the medical team members feel the care and warmth of the motherland, but also inspired all the team members to strengthen their confidence and determination to complete the medical mission of aiding Nepal.
