Since 2015, TAG Heuer has launched the coolest skeleton Carrera chronograph. The new generation of Carrera Skeleton Chronograph EXTREME SPORT, compared with the previous generation of Carrera 02 Skeleton Chronograph, has been upgraded from the case to the dial and movement, directly pulling the Carrera Chronograph to a new positioning height.

The new generation of Carrera skeleton chronographs features titanium cases, while the previous generation was a steel watch. Carrera hollow timing, take the hollow cool route, the size is relatively large. The previous generation was 45/43 in two sizes, and the new generation is 44mm. After changing to a titanium case, the weight came down at once, and with a size of 44 mm, there was no burden to wear. The skeleton design of the new generation of Carrera chronographs has been significantly improved compared to the previous generation. First of all, the overall design, the new Carrera chronograph, with the 12 o'clock barrel on display, and the date adjusted to 6 o'clock (compared to the old 4 o'clock). The small seconds hand below the dial makes a notch to make way for the calendar, and the entire dial is highly symmetrical.

In terms of skeleton details, the new generation of Carrera skeleton chronograph, the dial has strengthened the "X" shape hollow, and the "X" structure is obvious. Inside the "X" openwork plywood, it is decorated with black grain. The lower layer of the plywood is hollowed out, all of which are drawn vertically. The new generation of Carrera skeleton chronographs uses TAG Heuer's new TH20 automatic chronograph calibre (the 02 automatic chronograph movement used in the old model). The new TH20 chronograph calibre is an evolution of the TAG Heuer 02 chronograph calibre. The main ones are fine-tuning, one is to change the automatic winding to two winds, and the other is to extend the service/warranty interval of the movement. In the core configuration of the movement, there is no change. It is still a combination of cylindrical wheels and vertical clutch, and it has 80 hours of power. In the movement decoration, the TH20 chronograph movement has a Cève stripe decoration on the upper bridge, and sandblasted on the lower bridge. The rotor is shaped like the TAG Heuer shield logo, hollowed out and brushed. The cylindrical wheel is painted blue and is very eye-catching.

Since TAG Heuer's movements have changed their numbers over the past few years, I'll give you a brief breakdown:
The 01 automatic chronograph movement (formerly numbered 1887 movement) was produced under Seiko's patent in the early days, but was discontinued many years ago.

At present, the new generation of Carrera skeleton chronographs is only equipped with adhesive tape, which uses a folding buckle. The clasp has a length fine-tuning function, press and hold the fine-tuning button on the buckle, slide back and forth, you can fine-tune the length, which is very easy to use.
