This is a typical songwriting poem. Songxing is one of the ancient poetry genres, which was established in the early Tang Dynasty on the basis of the poetry of the Six Dynasties of Han and Wei. Chengmagang Town, Macheng City, is famous as the "First Township of Chinese Generals". On the side of the beautiful Baishi River reservoir, there is a villa built by Mr. Li Shiming after he worked hard and became rich. As a contractor and poetry lover of the reservoir, in recent years, he can be described as "talking and laughing, and there is no white ding", and has ushered in a large number of literati and inkers, especially poets, from all over the country, provinces, cities and counties. The poets visited the 100 acres of lotus ponds and rafting reservoirs in front of the villa, exchanged poetry, sang harmony with each other, and produced many poems.

The poem changes eight rhymes in eight paragraphs, each rhymes with eight sentences, of which the first and last eight sentences rhyme with the same rhyme, the structure is neat, and the narrative is complete and smooth.

Speaking of the creation of this poem, there is another story: Today in March, Duan Wei, president of the Hubei Poetry Society, organized the creation of poems in the history of the party for a hundred years, and handed over some chapters to me. According to my understanding of the different situations of Macheng poets, I gave the small topic of "Beautiful Rural Construction Goals and Their Typical Models" to Mr. Li Shiming, a famous peasant poet in Macheng, to write. Although he did not resign, he never wrote, because the beginning of the year is also the busiest time for his reservoir, and he needs to buy fish fry, fish feed, and renovate the reservoir. It is almost the deadline at the end of the month, such a major subject writing task, he can not be absent, ah, I rushed to supervise, he finally wrote this poem in one night!
