Born in 1989, Ko Ji-chol made his national team debut in 2009 and currently makes 75 appearances for the South Korean national team, scoring 19 goals.

KoJi-cheol became famous at the 2011 Asian Cup in Qatar, where he scored five goals to win the Golden Boot and helped South Korea finish third in the 2011 Asian Cup. Gu Zizhe then went to the Bundesliga and joined Wolfsburg.

Currently, Gu Zizhe plays for Augsburg in the Bundesliga, making 14 league appearances this season, scoring 2 goals.
