On the morning of September 20, the autumn rain was like weaving. On the bank of the North Canal in the Grand Canal Forest Park in Tongzhou District, Beijing, the "Healthy China, We Action-Healthy Universiade Hiking Activity" was officially launched. The purpose of the event is to create a good atmosphere for everyone to actively practice a healthy lifestyle through hiking, a form that Chinese people like to see and participate in.
The "Healthy China, We Take Action - Healthy Walk" hiking activity was officially launched.
Every September, it is the National Healthy Lifestyle Awareness Month. This year coincides with the 10th anniversary of the successful inscription of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal on the World Heritage List, which is also the inspiration for the name of the event. Following the launch in Beijing on the 20th, the "Healthy Walk" hiking activity will be gradually carried out in 18 cities along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, such as Tianjin, Hengshui, Jining, Huai'an, Yangzhou, Hangzhou, etc., to promote the transformation of the Grand Canal from "geographical space" to "cultural space" and then to "healthy space".
The sudden autumn rain did not affect the public's enthusiasm in the slightest. The reporter noticed that the event site on the 20th attracted nearly 1,000 citizens to participate in the rain. Citizens of all ages were full of emotions and eager to try, and after the horn sounded on the spot, they organized groups to start a 6-kilometer hiking activity along the Grand Canal.
In June this year, the state issued the "Three-year Action Plan for Improving Health Literacy for All", once again emphasizing the shift from "treatment-centered" to "health-centered", proposing to provide the public with high-quality health science content and broaden the platform for the whole people to participate in health activities, so that everyone can become a practitioner of healthy life. This year's National Healthy Lifestyle Publicity Month focuses on the whole life cycle and life scenarios, and carries out key health core information release and scientific popularization activities to improve the health literacy level of residents.
Wang Ruhua, Vice President of Public Affairs of Amway (China), delivered a speech.
Wang Ruhua, Vice President of Public Affairs of Amway (China), pointed out that as a partner of the event, since 2012, Amway Nutrilite has joined hands with Global Times, Life Times and other institutions to carry out a series of national health literacy improvement activities such as "Healthy China, We Action", which have entered more than 100 cities across the country and affected hundreds of millions of people.
Wang Ruhua introduced that Amway has cooperated with health institutions, experts and scholars at all levels across the country to carefully produce and promote scientifically authoritative and diverse forms of health science content; Launched the "Let's Move" mini-program, calling on the public to form teams to participate, learn health knowledge, implement health actions, check in good habits, and participate in public welfare donations, so as to promote the popularization of healthy lifestyles.
This healthy walk is divided into two parts: online and offline. The offline part will be held along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, and there will be check-in points such as the "Three Reductions and Three Health" exhibition area and the "Healthy Weight" interactive area; In the online part, the "Healthy Walking" public welfare donation activity was carried out through the "Let's Move" mini program, and the public can gradually cultivate a healthy lifestyle such as scientific exercise, reasonable diet, quitting smoking and limiting alcohol, and regular work and rest through online team donations. The donation will be used to support the healthy growth of rural children.
