In order to further demonstrate the development achievements of Fengxian's "three rural" areas and show the bright prospects of agricultural and rural modernization, on September 22, the Fengxian venue of the 2024 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival was held in Xinqiang Village, Jinhui Town.
The event kicked off with the dance "On the Field of Hope", and the song "Earth Flying Song" deduced the warm emotions of celebrating the joy of the harvest and sharing the fruits of the harvest. During the rice harvest season, at the Xinqiang Village Wisdom Xingnong Station, a golden autumn rice tasting and evaluation activity was also carried out simultaneously. More than a dozen rice cookers were lined up one after another, and the aroma of rice came to the nostrils, attracting the villagers and tourists present to compete for tasting. It is reported that a total of 14 rice production and operation entities in Fengxian District were organized to participate in this event.
In order to better promote the industrialization and brand development of Fengxian rice, in 2024, Fengxian District will establish a high-quality rice industrialization consortium, grandly launch the rice public brand - Xiancheng Meigu, and form a development system of the whole industrial chain of Fengxian rice, such as improved seed cultivation, green planting, agricultural machinery services, rice processing, storage and sales, to achieve the advancement of "from excellent to refined".
As one of the series of activities in response to the theme of the 2024 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, Fengxian District launched a rural photography contest, calling on the general public to record the development achievements and beautiful ecological scenery of Fengxian's rural revitalization with the lens around the festive atmosphere of the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival.
The successful holding of the photography competition not only provides a platform for the majority of photography enthusiasts to show their talents, exchange and learn, but also adds a strong touch to the rural revitalization of Fengxian District. Through the unique art form of photography, citizens and tourists can more intuitively feel the vitality and bright prospects of Fengxian's rural revitalization.
At the event, Agricultural Bank of China Shanghai Branch signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Fengxian District Agriculture and Rural Committee, and the two sides will take this opportunity to jointly promote the development of agriculture and rural areas in Fengxian District and provide a strong guarantee for the construction of an agricultural power. In addition, the Agricultural Bank of China also awarded the credit village license to Xinqiao Village.
As the main battlefield of Shanghai's rural revitalization, in recent years, Fengxian District has vigorously promoted the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, continuously improved the rural living environment, promoted the construction of Shanghai Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Valley, integrated and upgraded the "100 Villages" series of brands, and continuously enhanced the collective economic vitality of rural development, and has been successfully selected into the list of national agricultural modernization demonstration zones.
