A week after the launch of Patch 11.0.2 in August, officials received feedback about an issue that was caused by a technical update for cross-server guilds that caused the loss of player items, most of which were related to professional materials prior to the expansion's release.
Blizzard said it had identified and found the items in the past few weeks, and that they would soon be emailed to the guild leaders, but they apologized for some items that could not be recovered.
Warbands are one of the main gameplay features of 11.0, which builds many characters under the same account into a whole, realizes resource sharing, and has functions similar to guild banks. The initial release of Warband Bank was delayed by a few days due to technical issues, and many feared that future Warbands updates would cause bugs, and it remains to be seen how Blizzard will prevent such issues from happening again.
