The Mid-Autumn Festival, the moon is full, and it is another year of reunion. Yuexiu Park's "· Yue Time" ancient city wall theme series of cultural activities "Ming City Wall Mid-Autumn Garden Tour" was officially opened.
On the evening of September 15th, more than 100 groups of parent-child families held cultural and creative lanterns and wore Hanfu, followed the "General Defending the City", followed the historical footprints of the Ming City Wall in Guangzhou, starting from the Wuyang sculpture, and went to a covenant through the past and the present with the citizens and tourists present.

Walking to the foot of the ancient city wall and the shore of Dongxiu Lake, a beautiful "encounter" with the traditional folk culture of the Mid-Autumn Festival makes the journey of the Ming City Wall more exciting, and the Mid-Autumn Festival garden activity that brings together "intangible cultural heritage market + traditional performance + guessing lantern riddles" has infiltrated the thick fireworks in the world, attracting children, parents and a large number of citizens to stop and experience, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the bright moon and taste the food, experience the leisure and elegance of the ancients in an immersive way, and share the beauty and joy of the traditional festival.
In January 2024, the International Alliance of Ancient City Walls (Forts) officially approved Yuexiu Park to join the Alliance, becoming the 16th member of the International Alliance of Ancient City Walls (Forts).
In November 2024, the annual meeting of the International Ancient City Wall (Fort) Alliance will be held in Yuexiu Park, Guangzhou.
Yuexiu Park takes the Ming City Wall of Guangzhou as the main line, connecting historical attractions such as Wuyang Stone Carving, Zhenhai Tower, Seafarers' Pavilion, Guangfu Pavilion, etc., integrating traditional folk customs experience activities into it, allowing tourists to appreciate the thousand-year-old changes of Yangcheng and the infinite charm of Guangfu culture in a multi-dimensional cultural experience.
According to the park, the "Yuexiu Park Ming City Wall Mid-Autumn Festival Tour" will be held at 19:00 every day from September 15th to 17th in Yuexiu Park, with about 100 groups of parent-child families participating in the activity every night.
