On September 11th, the Shuangliu Butterfly Museum unveiled the mystery to the public in Baihe Park.
It is understood that the Butterfly Museum has a construction area of more than 1,200 square meters, relying on the research results of Deng Heli, a former researcher of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in the Hengduan Mountains in the past 20 years.
Zhang Chenrui, associate researcher of the Butterfly Museum, said that at present, the museum has thousands of butterfly species and more than 10,000 specimens, focusing on scientific research and popular science services, mainly used for raising insects, scientific research, and popular science activities.
"This butterfly museum is the first type of museum I have seen, I was more interested in butterflies in my life before, and this museum can provide us with the opportunity to observe butterflies up close, which is very rare." Citizen Liu Zhengli said.
It is understood that the Butterfly Chaser Butterfly Museum has an ecological area, which simulates the natural habitat of butterflies, and you can observe the daily life of butterflies up close.
There is also a specimen area, which has a collection of nearly 1,000 butterfly specimens of more than 600 species, each of which is accompanied by detailed collection information. Walking through the taxidermy area is like walking into an encyclopedia of butterflies, each of which tells a unique story.
In addition, there is a popular science area, through interactive questions and answers, popular science lectures and other forms, you can have an in-depth understanding of the biological knowledge of butterflies.
The most interesting thing is the experience area, which provides activities such as butterfly specimen making and butterfly wing painting creation. Under the guidance of professional staff, you can make butterfly specimens and experience a unique journey through the art of handicraft.
It is understood that at present, the Butterfly Museum implements an online real-name reservation system for free visits, and those who have not made an appointment are not allowed to enter the museum.
