In order to further improve the efficiency and results of air defense siren inspection, and effectively help the successful completion of the Shanghai air defense siren test task on September 21, in the past few days, the Jinshan District State Action Office has actively coordinated with the maintenance unit to adopt the method of "air-ground combination, man-machine combination, and three-dimensional crossing", and made full use of the characteristics of UAV "accurate detection, fast tracking, and efficient operation" to carry out some "special locations" air defense siren inspection in the region.
On the afternoon of September 9, in the Jinyue Huating Community, the siren supervisor of the District State Office and the staff of the maintenance unit were holding the drone controller, with the help of the high-definition zoom camera of the drone, to carry out a comprehensive visual inspection and take pictures of the siren in front. According to the staff, the drone can be used to check whether the alarm equipment components are rusted, damaged, and falling off in real time.
At present, there are a total of 99 alarms in Jinshan, of which nearly 7 alarms are installed in high positions and are difficult to observe at close range, which brings problems such as long cycle and high risk factor of high-altitude work to the alarm inspection. In order to ensure the smooth test on September 21, the District State Mobilization Office began to use drones to assist in the inspection of air defense sirens several months in advance, and carried out comprehensive inspection and maintenance of air defense warning facilities.
Li Min, a staff member of the District Civil Defense Command Information Support Center, said: "Through the drone's close-up lens, we can see the status of the siren more clearly. Because its shelves are all iron and easy to rust, we will first check its rust condition, and then look at its running pipe, check whether the line is damaged, water ingress, and ensure the normal operation of the external function. ”
Not only that, the UAV can also independently plan the route, shoot the captured information in time, transmit the inspection data, accurately locate and collect the longitude and latitude of the air defense siren, altitude and other data, which is convenient for the staff to analyze, and put forward corresponding countermeasures according to the inspection results, so as to "escort" the siren inspection.
In recent years, the District State Office has used drones to assist in the inspection of air defense sirens, which not only reduces the inspection cycle and improves the inspection efficiency, but also reduces the safety risks caused by high-altitude operations, and effectively strengthens the daily maintenance and management of air defense sirens.
"Usually we will also carry out daily inspections of the sirens in the whole region every quarter, and this year, in order to ensure the smooth progress of the siren test, we have increased the intensity and frequency of the inspection to ensure that the air defense siren will sound 100% when the test is sounded this year." Chen Jiazhu, director of the District Civil Defense Command Information Support Center, said.
With the continuous expansion of UAV application scenarios, the District State Mobilization Office will further explore the application of UAVs in training exercises, air observation, communication support and other fields, so as to empower and increase the efficiency of the high-quality development of national defense mobilization.
