The 47th WorldSkills Competition opened in Lyon, France

At 19 o'clock local time on September 10, the 47th WorldSkills Competition opened in Lyon, France. ·Max Roche, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the 47th WorldSkills Competition, and Chris ·Humphreys, President of the WorldSkills Organization, delivered speeches, and President Emmanuel Macron attended and announced the opening of the competition France President Macron.

More than 1,400 contestants from nearly 70 countries and regions will participate in this competition. The Chinese delegation sent a total of 68 contestants to compete in all 59 events in six categories, including transport and logistics, structural and building technology, manufacturing and engineering technology, information and communication technology, creative arts and fashion, and social and personal services, with an average age of 22 years old. This is the seventh time that the mainland has organized a group to participate in the competition, and it is also the largest number of participants and the most complete participation since the mainland participated in the WorldSkills Competition.

At the opening ceremony, contestants from various participating countries and regions participated in the entrance ceremony, showing the vigorous youth of young people from all over the world.
