In terms of industry, 14 of the 15 high-paying positions in the upstream, midstream and downstream of the semiconductor industry chain are engineers, and the average monthly salary of upstream analog IC design engineers is nearly 104,000 yuan, and the salary of analog or digital IC design positions in the upstream and midstream can reach more than 92,000 yuan. The average monthly salary of the top five high-paying positions in the upstream (analog IC design, digital bit IC design, algorithm, hardware research and development, and hardware design engineer) is more than 90,000 yuan, and the average salary of algorithm development engineers this year is 92,000 yuan, which is also nearly 10% higher than last year.
In the downstream, the highest average monthly salary is a hardware R&D engineer, nearly 61,000 yuan. The only non-engineer position is the downstream domestic business personnel, with a salary of nearly 58,000 yuan.
