The center of this year's No. 11 typhoon "Capricorn" was located at 9 a.m. on September 6 in the northwest of the South China Sea, about 150 kilometers south-east of Wenchang City, Hainan Province, with a maximum wind force of more than 17 (68 m/s) near the center and a minimum pressure of 905 hPa at the center, which is a super typhoon, which is comparable to Typhoon No. 10 "Rammasun" in 2014.
Typhoon "Capricorn" will move west-northward at a speed of 10~15 kilometers per hour, and is expected to make landfall along the coast from Wenchang in Hainan to Leizhou in Guangdong from this afternoon to evening, and then move into the sea surface of Beibu Gulf, and make landfall again on the coast from Fangchenggang in Guangxi to northern Viet Nam on the afternoon of the 7th.
