Located in the north of Banqiao Town, Huichuan District, the Loushanguan State-owned Forest Farm has become the top priority of fire prevention because of its unique geographical location and abundant forest resources. The forest farm has a vast management and protection area of 36,825 acres, mainly planting pine, fir and other tree species, but also includes some coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests and broad-leaved mixed forests. In order to effectively respond to the challenge of forest fire prevention, the Loushanguan state-owned forest farm has implemented grid management of forest rangers, and 47 forest rangers have been assigned to various grid areas to achieve all-weather monitoring without dead ends.
"We have developed a detailed forest fire prevention and fire management plan, and raised public awareness of fire prevention through mobile publicity vehicles. At the same time, the forest farm implements a 24-hour duty system to monitor 9 key areas in real time to ensure early detection, early reporting and early disposal of fires. The Forestry Bureau of Huichuan District, as the coordinating department of forest fire prevention work, also spared no effort. Since the beginning of this year, the bureau has organized 8 meetings on the deployment of forest fire prevention work, organized 3 training sessions on skill improvement and business management, and carried out 6 actual combat drills in conjunction with various towns (streets) and Loushanguan state-owned forest farms.
"We adopt the method of assigning people and fixed points on a regular basis to conduct a comprehensive investigation of forest fire hazards, and carry out prevention, monitoring and patrol with the help of scientific and technological means." Shu Xin, deputy head of the Forest Fire Prevention Unit of the Huichuan District Forestry Bureau, said that at present, 886 ecological rangers in the district shuttle between the mountains and forests every day, guarding every inch of greenery.
The 86 checkpoints set up in scenic spots, nature reserves and key forest areas have strictly managed the personnel and vehicles entering and leaving the forest areas, and a total of 2,537 people and vehicles have been inspected. In the future, the bureau will also continue to increase supervision and publicity efforts to ensure that no major forest fires occur.

According to reports, the bureau makes full use of radar, satellite and ground monitoring systems to carry out refined monitoring and early warning of high temperature and drought weather, providing accurate data support for forest fire prevention work.
