In order to effectively protect the safety of people's lives and property, and effectively prevent and resolve gas safety risks, Mapo Town has continued to carry out special gas safety inspection actions since August, focusing on comprehensive investigation and rectification of non-residential gas users to eliminate potential safety hazards from the source.
The special inspection action was formed by the Mapo Town Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team, together with a number of functional departments and the staff of the gas company, to conduct a dragnet investigation for non-residential gas users in the town. The inspection content mainly includes whether the gas alarm device is operating normally, whether the key parts such as gas valves are aging, and whether there are illegal storage and use of substandard gas tanks.
At the scene of law enforcement, the Joint Inspection Unit dealt with the problems found seriously. The inspection team punished the illegal storage and use of substandard gas tanks in accordance with the law and confiscated the substandard gas canisters. According to statistics, since August, Mapo Town has dispatched 72 law enforcement officers, fined a total of 10 unqualified gas canisters, and imposed a fine of 2,000 yuan.
In addition to strict law enforcement, the Joint Inspection Unit also focuses on popularizing gas safety-related laws and regulations and common sense to non-residential gas users. During the inspection process, the staff patiently explained the precautions for gas use to the user, guided the user to increase self-inspection and self-correction, and eliminated the hidden dangers in the bud in a timely manner. This method of inspection and publicity not only enhances the safety awareness of users, but also improves their ability to deal with gas safety accidents.
