On the same day, 94-year-old Hideo Shimizu, a former member of Unit 731 of the Japanese Invasion Army, and his party visited the Evidence Exhibition Hall of Unit 731 of the Japanese Invasion Army.
The "Unit 731" of the headquarters in the Pingfang District of Harbin City, known as the "Demon Force", was the base camp for carrying out bacteriological warfare, developing bacteriological weapons, and conducting human experiments during Japan's invasion of China. The "Unit 731" site group is the largest and most well-preserved bacteriological warfare site group in the history of world warfare.
In 2015, the 731st Unit of the Japanese Invasion of China was built, which looks like a "black box". A large number of archives, relics and physical evidence of the Japanese invasion of China are preserved and displayed, including the incriminating evidence obtained by Chinese experts such as director Kim Sung-min for more than 20 years.
"Japan has indeed committed cruel acts of harm, and the facts are the facts. Facing history squarely and praying for peace is the most important lesson to be learned. Hideo Shimizu said.
