Netizens reported that construction waste was piled up on the roof of the community on Park South Road, causing water leakage in residents' homes.
Recently, some netizens reported to the Western Network People's Livelihood Hotline that construction waste was piled up on the roof of Unit 1, Building 10, Courtyard 14, Park South Road Community, Xincheng District, Xi'an City, which caused water leakage in residents' homes on rainy days, and it was repeatedly reported to the community that it had not been effectively resolved. It is hoped that the relevant departments will assist in dealing with the problem.
Subsequently, the Western Network People's Livelihood Hotline reported this situation to the relevant departments of the new urban area.
Recently, the Party Working Committee of Hansenzhai Street, Xincheng District, replied that after verification, the residents' feedback was basically true. The No. 14 courtyard of the South Park Road Community was developed and constructed by the New Town Real Estate Development Company in 1988. The construction waste reported by the residents is the sand and gravel used to protect and strengthen the waterproof layer on the roof of the house when the house is built, and because other residents did not restore the original state in time after repairing the waterproof layer on the roof of their own buildings in the early stage, the sand and gravel were stacked in a centralized manner, resulting in the leakage of the roof of Unit 1 of Building 10. At present, the community has organized staff to clean up the concentrated pile of sand and gravel, and assisted workers to repair the waterproof layer on the roof.
In the next step, Hansenzhai Street and the community will strengthen the investigation of the hidden dangers of sanitation and infrastructure in the community, and create a clean, tidy and orderly living environment.
