With the advent of the rainy season, poisoning caused by accidental ingestion of poisonous mushrooms is very likely to occur, on August 5, the Liaoning Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention issued a reminder to be cautious about eating wild mushrooms, especially not to pick wild mushrooms by yourself
01
Do not pick
Members of the public, especially parents with their children, should not pick wild mushrooms or mushrooms of unknown origin out of curiosity or to satisfy their appetites. For wild mushrooms in the grass on the roadside, there is no fast and reliable way to identify poisonous mushrooms, so we should not easily pick mushrooms that we don't know.
02
Do not buy
Do not buy mushrooms at roadside vendors, even if you buy wild mushrooms in the regular market, you should not let your guard down, especially wild mushrooms that you have not eaten or do not know.
03
Don't eat
Be cautious about eating wild mushrooms at home meals. Do not process and eat wild mushrooms for group meals, catering services, folk tourism, etc., to ensure the safety of food consumption.
What to do in case of poisoning?
Once wild mushrooms are ingested by mistake, and symptoms of suspected poisoning appear, such as nausea, dizziness, vomiting, unclear vision, visual hallucinations, auditory hallucinations, etc., the following measures should be taken immediately:
1. Call the emergency number immediately.
2. Go to a regular hospital for treatment in time, in case it is too late to seek medical treatment, you should immediately use simple methods for vomiting, gastric lavage, and catharsis treatment, you can drink a large amount of warm boiled water or dilute salt water, and then use hard things such as soup spoons to stimulate the larynx, as soon as possible to remove the residual mushrooms that have not been absorbed in the body or slow down the absorption of toxic substances, reduce the degree of poisoning, and prevent the aggravation of the disease.
3. Let the patient drink a small amount of salt and sugar water to replenish body fluids and prevent the poisoned person from dehydration and shock.
4. Do not forcibly pour water into the mouth of patients who have fallen into a coma to prevent suffocation.
5. Keep poisonous mushroom samples for professional reference for treatment.
