On the morning of August 7, the 2024 TrendBank (6th) Polarizer Industry Summit officially opened, and Sun Yongtang, head of pan-semiconductor research at TrendBank, served as the host of the first day of the conference.

Zhou Mingzhong: The large size of the display brings users an immersive visual experience, and at the same time, it also puts forward higher requirements for the performance of core materials such as polarizers, including the size of larger POL, viewing angle compensation, stability of POL materials, ambient light interference and other requirements. At the same time, the demand for polarizers continues to grow, and the proportion of high-end TVs continues to increase, which is expected to reach 15% in 2028, and the proportion of LCD will still be above 96% by 2028.
Xu Liqun: In 2023, the global LCD automotive polarizer will be 10.46 million square meters, and POL will mainly rely on foreign imports, an increase of 16.06% compared with 2022. With the development trend of screen diversification and large screens, automotive polarizers will still be in a period of continuous growth in the next three to five years. Combined with its own production line and product positioning, Sabelae has maintained the steady growth of small and medium-sized mobile phone modules and industrial control, focusing on the production of automotive, OLED, military and differentiated products, and the overall business situation has grown steadily.
