A few days ago, I met Zhang Deheng and Wang Hongye, two virtuous brothers, because they were literary friends and friends, so they naturally spoke more casually. During the conversation, they told me that the Feicheng Art Museum was holding a calligraphy exhibition and invited me to visit.
For the invitation of the two virtuous brothers, I readily agreed, but in those days, there was rain every day, and then I caught up with the "Taoxiang Wenyuan" with my tweet and the editor-in-chief of the Hebei "Writer Artist Sunshine Media" platform Chen Xin asked me to compose a manuscript, so that on the 29th, I remembered this matter, and quickly sent a message to Deheng to apologize, asking when the calligraphy exhibition will be closed? After a while, he replied with a message, and the exhibition was removed on the afternoon of the 30th.
To tell you the truth, I am not a connoisseur or critic, and appreciation and criticism require a high level of attainment and cultural knowledge, which I do not have, at best I am a lover of literature, nothing more.
At about 9 o'clock in the morning on the 30th, I hurriedly cleaned up at home, wiped the floor, and went to the art museum. The art gallery is not very far from home, 10 minutes away. The door is open, the lights are on, there is no one, it is very elegant and quiet, this is a good environment for appreciating calligraphy.
First, I observed the brief introduction of the calligraphy exhibition written by Mr. Fu Zhentao hanging at the door, and learned the meaning and purpose of the exhibition. More than 160 works, previously De Heng Di said, are Feicheng calligraphy court committee works, each person has 6, 7 different fonts and styles of works, De Heng and Hongye two virtuous brothers, respectively, the president, vice president, one is a member of the Provincial Calligraphers Association, the other is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the level is high, their works are naturally among them.
In fact, calligraphy is a kind of elegant art, and the appreciation of calligraphy depends on the appreciator's eyesight and knowledge reserve to excavate and discover the life and soul contained in the work, as well as the spirit and style of calligraphy. Excellent calligraphy works must have both physical beauty, physical beauty, and spiritual feet, and the appreciator must comprehend the posture and capture the brilliance in it.
From the very first work, I stopped to look at each of them, and I was amazed by the different styles and unique realms they created. When I walked lightly in front of the masterpieces of the two virtuous brothers, I was even more amazed, "the roots go deep into the clouds" and "the work is natural", these 10 words are used in the works, which could not be more appropriate. For example, the poem written by Dehengdi Li Bai to Wang Lun is not like cursive scribble, but the lines are as beautiful as ripples, and as unrestrained as grass; Tang Wang Wei of Hongye Brother "Mountain House Autumn Twilight", the font is rigorous, thin and handsome. Their beauty does not require any decoration, but is naturally generated, and this beauty is expressed in the tiny points of the lines, carefully appreciated, giving people infinite reverie, through the font structure, combined with beautiful and moving verses, will make people have an immersive feeling.
Kanji is a type of ideographic script. Huiyi itself is a kind of wisdom power, let you gallop 80,000 miles, to imagine, but also through words to thank our ancestors for the magical charm and beauty of creativity.
A true artist creates beautiful calligraphy for people, without the need to add to the charm of the work, nor to explain the cause and effect of the work, but to touch the soul and charm of the viewer.
