The new X3 has a length, width and height of 4,755 x 1,920 x 1,660 mm and a wheelbase of 2,865 mm, which is slightly longer than the current third-generation standard model (4,708 x 1,891 x 1,676 mm).
The X3 series, which has been sold in the past, has a different wheelbase than overseas, so the fourth-generation X3 is no exception, and this time it is also available in a long-axis version exclusive to the Chinese market. At 4,865 mm, the length of the car is 110 mm longer than the 4,755 mm of the standard X3 wheelbase, and the wheelbase is 2,975 mm, which is 110 mm longer than the 2,865 mm wheelbase of the standard X3, and even its 2,975 mm wheelbase is the same level as the current X5 standard version, and the width of the car is 2,975 mm with the same length and short axles.
In terms of exterior design, the facelifted X3 has a nod to the flagship SUV XM in the concave design of the factory emblem in the center of the front and the bulging shape of the hood, with the polygonal frame of the kidney shaped radiator guard combined with the BMW polished radiator guard design, and the LED headlight cluster has been changed to a double L-shaped cascade in the daytime running lights.
Styling, the facelifted X3 has a more boxy long axle than the third-generation model, with wheel arches that expand back and forth, as well as the flat-handle door handles that are customary for the new-generation models, and a panoramic glass roof similar to that of the BMW 7 Series with Sky Lounge light bars. The rear end provides a three-dimensional rear wing that extends to both sides of the tailgate, and the position of the license plate is moved from the center of the tailgate to the rear bumper through the "T-Shaped" LED taillight cluster, while the Chinese version of the X3 is mainly below the X3 lettering on the left, with the BMW Brilliance lettering.
Inside, the X3's long axle is basically the same as the short axle model, with a layout that deviates from the thinking of the third-generation model, with the BMW surround light curtain covering the centre console, central saddle and side doors, the gear base and iDrive interface are made up of the brand's usual crystal package, the front is equipped with a wireless charging pad, and the floating curved digital cockpit consists of a 12.3-inch virtual digital instrument cluster, a 14.9-inch multimedia touch screen, and the BMW OS 9 system with a built-in QuickSelect intuitive user interface.
As for the seats, the X3 long axis is mainly available in 3 two-tone Veganza sports seats. The rear seat has significantly more knee room than the standard wheelbase X3 thanks to the longer wheelbase, and comes with 3-zone climate control, as well as a travel convenience package that supports iPad stand mounting and charging in the front seats. It is worth mentioning that the colour of the Sky Lounge lights on the panoramic glass roof can also be changed according to different driving modes (My Modes), creating a sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere and an impressive luxury experience.
In terms of power, the Chinese-made X3 long-axle version is equipped with a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, and both are also powered by an 8-speed Steptronic gearbox and BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system, but there are two power outputs: 25L xDrive and 30L xDrive. The 25L xDrive model produces 190 hp and 310 Nm of torque. Rice; The 30L xDrive model has 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Rice.
However, in addition to the aforementioned power, the M50 xDrive will also be imported from United States Spatanburg production line, with a standard wheelbase of 3.0 litre TwinPower Turbo engine and 48V light petrol technology, which can produce a maximum output of 398 hp and accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
