On the evening of August 6th and 7th, "Songs of Blood" was held at the Hunan Grand Theater for two consecutive performances, and from August 13th to 14th at the Beijing Tianqiao Theater.
This year is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and from July to October, sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the exhibition and performance of outstanding stage art works in the new era was held in Beijing, and a total of 40 outstanding works were invited to participate. The dance drama "Songs of Blood" is set in Shanghai in the 30s of the 20th century, telling the story of the hot-blooded young people Tian Han, Nie Er, and An E who resolutely joined the Communist Party of China at the time of the national crisis, and used literature and art to speak for the toiling masses and the anti-Japanese salvation, and finally created the touching story of "March of the Volunteers".
On the evening of August 6, the Hunan Grand Theater was full. During the 2 hours of the performance, the audience was affected by the twist of the fate of the characters in the play, attracted by the wonderful performances of the actors, and infected by the years of burning passion. After the performance, the applause in the theater was thunderous and long-lasting.
