360° turning with adjustable angle and no risk of interference
FreeTurn tools are mounted on the milling spindle of the turn-mill composite machine and are perfect for 360° free turning. The angle of the cutting edge can be flexibly changed according to the machining needs by the rotation of the milling spindle, which can easily cope with various processing needs, while the variable main declination angle can obtain better chip control.

Processing cases
This revolutionary turning process has already begun to be used in the production of non-standard tools at the Besigheim tool production site at Senra Tianshi. By using FreeTurn tools, they significantly reduced the number of tools and successfully replaced the previous 3 tools with 1 FreeTurn tool for complete machining of the workpiece.
The cutting data used in machining are also more efficient than conventional turning: cutting speed Vc 220 m/min, feed rate f 0.48 mm/r, depth of cut ap 4 mm. In finishing, cutting speeds can even reach 400 m/min. When machining individual workpieces, FreeTurn saves 2.25 min of production time, 3.53 euros in production costs and 0.42 kW/h in energy consumption.
