Knowing that he was only named the messenger of the Pure Altar, Zhu Bajie was very dissatisfied, and couldn't help but ask Rulai: "Why did they all become Buddhas, but only let me be a Pure Altar Messenger?" ”
What Zhu Bajie said about them refers to Tang Seng and Sun Wukong, the former was crowned as the Buddha of Tan Merit, and the latter was crowned as the Buddha of Victory. In Zhu Bajie's view, even Tang Seng and Sun Wukong can become Buddhas, and he should become Buddhas. Because Tang Seng was the second disciple of Rulai in his previous life, Jin Chanzi, Sun Wukong was just Bi Ma Wen, and he was Marshal Tianpeng, and his background was bigger than both of them.
Rulai told Zhu Bajie that not letting him become a Buddha was actually for his good, and said: "Because your mouth is strong and lazy, and your stomach is wide. Covering the four continents of the world, there are many people who worship our religion, and all the Buddha things, teaching Ru Jing Altar, is a useful grade, how is it not good. ”
Rulai had already given him steps, but Zhu Bajie did not get off the donkey, and he was still very dissatisfied with this. Because of this, he did not bow down to Nyorai, but did not say a word to protest against not becoming a Buddha.
On the other hand, when the sand monk came to crown him as a golden-bodied Arhat, he folded his hands and listened carefully. Knowing that he was only named a golden-bodied Arhat, he did not complain, but immediately thanked Rulai.
So, why is the sand monk not angry when he is only named a golden-bodied arhat?
Some people think that the sand monk often paddled and fished on the way to learn the scriptures, and the demon subduing feats were almost negligible, and he only killed a monkey who pretended to be him, and he could be named a golden-bodied Arhat by Rulai, which was already an unexpected surprise, so what reason was there to be angry?
In fact, Sha Seng actually has every reason to be angry.
First of all, his background is very large, and he was once the general of the Heavenly Court. The general of the rolling shutter is responsible for protecting the safety of the Jade Emperor, and his status is very high, so he can achieve "I am respected in the South Heavenly Gate", which is equivalent to the commander of the Heavenly Court Praetorian Guard, and does not lose to Marshal Tianpeng.
Secondly, Sha Seng is very determined to learn the scriptures, Sun Wukong and Zhu Bajie have picked up the picks on the way to learn the scriptures, but he has always worked hard and complained, and there is no behavior of picking the sons.

In the hundredth chapter of the original work, when he came to seal Sha Seng as a golden-bodied Arhat, he said: "Sha Wujing, you are a general of the rolling shutter, first because the peach will break the glass cup, degrade your lower realm, you fall in the quicksand river, hurt and eat man-made evil, fortunately converted to my religion, sincerely respect and protect the holy monk, climb the mountain and lead the horse, and be promoted to the great position and fruit, and be a golden-bodied Arhat." ”
The positive fruit level matched by the golden body Arhat is the positive fruit of the great career, and we know that the positive fruit of the great career is the positive fruit level of the Buddha.
Why did Rulai match the golden body of the sand monk with the right result? It is precisely because the authority of the golden-bodied Arhat is too great that it does not match the Buddha's positive fruit level and cannot serve the public.
The full name of the golden-bodied Arhat is the golden-bodied Arhat Bodhisattva, from the title, it is an out-and-out Bodhisattva title, since the Bodhisattva is titled, why should it be crowned with the word Arhat in front, instead of directly calling the golden-body Bodhisattva? Because the duty of the golden-bodied Arhat Bodhisattva is to lead the five hundred Arhats in the Lingshan Mountain.
We know that although the Arhats are only the third-class gods of the Lingshan Group, they are all cultivated to a high level of profundity and high mana, which is equivalent to the middle and high-level military attachés of the Lingshan Group, among which the famous eighteen Arhats are even more famous general-level figures, and the golden-bodied Arhat Bodhisattva can lead the five hundred Arhats of Lingshan, which shows that his power is great, and he is enough to rank among the bigwigs of the Lingshan real power faction. Such a position is really not changed for a Buddha, how can a sand monk be angry because of it? What do you think?
