CCTV News (News Network): Since the evening of July 28, the Juanshui River embankment in Hunan Province has been damaged in three places in Xiangtan County, some power equipment has been damaged, and thousands of people affected by the disaster have been transferred overnight. The vast number of Communist Party members charged ahead, fought continuously, and raced against time to ensure that the people affected by the disaster were properly resettled.
On the night of July 28, the water level of the trickle water in Hunan rose sharply, and the damaged embankment was being rescued, and the temporary power supply was urgently needed. They fought for hours on end, and the place where the danger occurred was finally electrified. Because he was worried that the water level was too high, the transformers in the surrounding villages might leak water, so Xiao Junwen, who had no time to rest, took people into the village to check.
The next day, the trickle water level began to drop sharply, and by July 30, the stagnant water in the villages had been largely drained. In Xintang Village, people began to go home to sort out their clothes and furniture, and the village, which had been without electricity for two days, needed to be re-energized.
Under the scorching sun, Xiao Junwen led 11 party members of the party member service team to check the line and troubleshoot from door to door, and worked all day. That night, dozens of homes in Xintang Village were finally connected to electricity.
At present, the resettlement of the affected people is also a matter that needs to be solved urgently. After the danger of the fourth new embankment, Tan Jianning, secretary of the general party branch of the central school in Hekou Town, Xiangtan County, immediately set about cleaning up the school and receiving the people who had been resettled.
Thanks to the efforts of Tan Jianning and his colleagues, more than 160 people in the resettlement site were able to eat fresh vegetables and fruits.
