From now until November 30th, the "Everyday - Sun Yan Solo Exhibition" jointly organized by Collection & Auction Magazine and Fan House Living Art Space was held at Fan House Living Art Space, presenting 44 of Sun Yan's latest works created in the past year. From the theme of the exhibition to the works, to the artist himself, all of them exude a simple original intention.
Sun Yan, a graduate of the Painting Department of the National Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy, recently likes to record his daily life with small-scale paintings, such as half a face refracted by the screen in his mobile phone; the moment the ball is hit and flies; a flower and grass on the side of the road; a cat and a bird in sight; and even a seven-star ladybug that suddenly flies in his hand... These simple bits and pieces are a bit unlike the idleness of "painting", which are captured, frozen, magnified, and expressed in an understated way. Of course, the daily life in the painting is intriguing, hiding the observation and thinking of the painter Sun Yan on all the current life, so that people can easily find a sense of resonance.

Artist Sun Yan said, I have been constantly exploring, there is no genre and will not go with the flow, may be more self-painting. This exhibition still wants to bring the lightness of the picture to everyone. ”
Huang Runyu, the curator of the exhibition and the director of operations of "Collection and Auction" magazine, said that in Sun Yan's works, I feel a lot of unusual, he will find some interesting and interesting places from the details of his daily life, and paint them, such as he will paint some angles that ordinary people will not notice; or a dynamic moment in life, at first glance, Sun Yan's paintings will feel very simple, but if you taste carefully, you will find that there is an artist's love for life and a lot of interesting careful thoughts. We may be busy fighting for careers and pursuing better material conditions more often, but Sun Yan tells us through painting his own daily life that there are so many interesting bits in life that we may always ignore in our busyness.
