"Give you my heart as a souvenir, this love is fresh whenever you open it..." At the third "Taiwanese Rock Music Festival" held in Chengdu, Sichuan, the reporter met Xu Junhao, a young Taiwanese and dentist who was performing on the stage. Taking off his white coat and picking up the microphone, as the lead singer of taiwan's former idol group "Kemi Boy", Xu Junhao temporarily left his busy medical work here and sang his famous work "Youth Commemorative Album" again, which instantly ignited the scene.

Once a popular idol singer, now a professional and rigorous dentist, this seemingly impossible "transformation" record has left a strong mark on Xu Junhao's "Youth Commemorative Book". In 2003, due to an unexpected stage accident, Xu Junhao, who was in the ascendancy of his acting career, was forced to bid farewell to the stage, but it also became a new starting point for his life path. Under the long-term influence of the family atmosphere, Xu Junhao has had a special interest in medical treatment since he was a child, and his father, who opened an dental clinic, also encouraged him to re-enter medical school. In the end, he decided to participate in the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan joint examination and go to the mainland to pursue his new dream. In 2004, Xu Junhao successfully "broke through" and obtained an admission letter from the West China School of Stomatology of Sichuan University.

"When I came to Chengdu, I not only had to study medicine, but also accept 'peppercorns.'" Recalling the experience of studying in Chengdu, Xu Junhao said. He told reporters that at that time, there were very few Taiwanese students who came to the mainland to study, plus there were some differences between their academic knowledge and the learning environment in Taiwan, and there was pressure from the "school bullies" around them, and all kinds of discomfort were like eating peppercorns in Sichuan cuisine, and they needed to get used to it slowly. "But the teachers and classmates around me have also given a lot of care, and it's like another home, giving me warmth and exercising my abilities."

After 7 years of studying in Chengdu, Xu Junhao fell deeply in love with the city. In 2015, Xu Junhao returned to Chengdu after obtaining a master's degree in Germany, where he qualified as a mainland practitioner and founded his first dental clinic.

"There have been many twists and turns in opening a clinic, but I have enjoyed the process." In Xu Junhao's view, now is the best time for Taiwan Qingdao to start a business on the mainland. "Taking Sichuan as an example, there are now '70 Sichuan-Taiwan' policies, and each place will have its own Huitai policy." However, he also admitted that starting a business anywhere is not an easy task. "Since you come to the mainland, you must be grounded, try to understand the humanistic characteristics here, and find the advantages and uniqueness of your own entrepreneurship."

The career is booming, and the "music seeds" buried in Xu Junhao's heart have also taken root in Chengdu. Three years ago, he and a group of Taiwanese compatriots who loved music immediately founded the "Taiwanese Rock Orchestra", including the Son-in-law of Chengdu who runs a milk tea shop, a music producer dedicated to integrating ethnic music on both sides of the strait, and young students who have just "landed" and started a business. Every year, they gather at the "Taiwanese Rock Music Festival" to drink beer from the island and sing the "Taiwanese rock" full of Taiwanese flavor.

Nowadays, the "Taiwanese Rock Music Festival" has been successfully held for the third time, and has become an annual "must-punch" festival gathering for Taiwan compatriots who work, live and study in Chengdu. When asked by reporters whether he would take the opportunity of the Internet to become a singer again, Xu Junhao said that it was a surprise to be recognized by netizens, but it also made himself more responsible. "My identity is first and foremost as a doctor, and the original intention of medical workers is to let the majority of patients get treatment. Since I decided to be a doctor, I must do it well, and I will not give up halfway. Xu Junhao also said bluntly that he hopes to use his own experience to encourage more young people in Taiwan to bravely face the future as sung in the "Youth Commemorative Album", "no matter how big the wind and waves, I can also bravely move forward."
