The Ministry of Water Resources and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued an orange meteorological warning for flash floods at 6 p.m. on July 30:

It is expected that from 20:00 on July 30 to 20:00 on July 31, there is a high possibility of flash floods in northeast Beijing, northern Hebei, southeastern Inner Mongolia, northwest Liaoning, central Jilin, southern Heilongjiang, western Guangxi and other places (yellow warning), among which, northeast Beijing, northern Hebei and southern Heilongjiang have a high probability of flash floods (orange warning), and the counties (cities, districts) involved in the warning area are shown in the following table. Other areas may also be caused by local short-term heavy precipitation caused by flash floods, please pay attention to real-time monitoring, flood prevention and early warning, transfer and avoidance and other prevention work.
