Two people were killed and five injured in a mass shooting at a park in upstate New York on Sunday evening, according to U.S.-China.com.
Police are searching for multiple individuals in connection with the incident.
According to Rochester Police Department officials, the shooting occurred around 6:20 p.m. Sunday at Maplewood Park.
Sheriff Greg Bello said it was unclear what led to the shooting or how many people fired. He said that at the time of the incident, "everyone was having a barbecue outside and having a good time." ”
It is reported that the 25-year-old victim died of his injuries on Sunday night. A few hours later, the 34-year-old victim also died of his injuries. Five other victims were injured, but not in life-threatening condition.
Rochester Police Chief David Smith said police were "looking for more than one person," but it was unclear whether the gunmen involved were involved in the party or whether they entered the park from outside and opened fire.
