Lyon officially announced that French striker Moussa Dembele joined Atletico on loan until the end of the season at a loan cost of 1.5 million euros.
Moussa Dembele's loan terms also include a €33.5 million buyout clause, and in the event of a buyout, a floating transfer fee of €5 million, Lyon also receives a 10% share of the player's future transfer fee.
Dembele, who plays as a centre forward in the youth academies of Paris Saint-Germain and Fulham, joined the Soviet Premier League Celtics on a free-term basis in 2016-17 and joined Lyon for 22 million euros in the summer window of 2018, where he scored 45 goals and provided 13 assists in 108 games. Players have scored just one goal in 16 appearances in Ligue 1 this season.
