As in other years, the 2021 movie schedule has plenty of sequels to the most popular movie series.

About 20 years ago, the Matrix series initially ended, and fans were excited to see another film in the series, Keanu Reeves and Carey-Ann Moss, who would star in the two main characters, Neo and Trinity. Despite little knowledge of the upcoming sequel, fans can't wait to see the upcoming sequel and perhaps explain some of the outstanding issues.
The Matrix 4 movie is even considered one of the most anticipated sci-fi movies to be released in 2021. Like several other Warner Bros. movies, The Matrix 4 will be released in theaters and HBO on December 22, 2021.

The upcoming Spider-Man: Homeless is a sequel to a superhero movie, and fans are sure to scream. Alfred Molina and Jamie Fox starred as Dr. Octopus and Electric King, respectively, and Marvel fans were ecstatic about the live-action version of the Spider Universe movie.
The film will tell the story of Spider-Man: The Hero's Expedition, where his identity is revealed to the world.
As one of the most anticipated superhero movies released in 2021, Spider-Man: Homeless features Tom Holland as Peter Parker (Spider-Man). Joe Watts will continue to be the director, and Zaandaya, Marissa Tomei and Jacob Butteron will also continue to play their roles. Benedict Cumberbatch will also star as Doctor Strange, who will be Peter Parker's newest mentor. Spider-Man: Homeless will be released on December 17, 2021.

The Mission Impossible series is one of those amazing and more intense film series. After giving viewers a look at Mission Impossible 6: Total Disintegration, Ethan Hunt and his crew will return in 2021 to shoot more explosive action movies. Tom Cruise will once again play the famous IMF agent Ethan Hunt.
In Mission Impossible 7, Simon Peggy, Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby will also return in the upcoming sequel, as will new actors Hayley Atwell, Essé Morales and Pang Clementev. This spy thriller will be released on May 27, 2022.

Some fans of 1996's Slam Dunk in the Sky were thrilled to watch legendary basketball player Michael Jordan and Rooney's band team up to defeat aliens. Due to its huge success, fans hope to have a sequel.
After more than 20 years of waiting, the wishes of these fans were finally fulfilled, and Slam Dunk in the Air 2: The New Legend was finally fulfilled. Famous idol character LeBron James, along with Bugs Bunny, rescues his son Brownie from the evil Al-G played by Don Chandel. The film will be released on July 16, 2021.

The 1986 action film Top Gun was very popular at the time, especially its action scenes. 35 years after the release of Top Gun, its sequel, Top Gun 2: The Lone Ranger, will be on the silver screen again.
Tom Cruise and Val Kilmer continue to play the roles of "Lone Ranger" and "Iceman.". The cast also includes a new generation, including Miles Teller and Glenn Powell. In the upcoming film, Tom Cruise faces the challenge of training a new generation of pilots, while also inspiring them to become better naval pilots. The action film will be released on July 2, 2021.
