The annual happy festival for Basketball lovers in Shanghai is here again!
On October 17th, the launching ceremony of the 2021 Shanghai City Amateur League Shanghai Citizens Basketball Festival Basketball Carnival and the opening ceremony of the 2021 "China Resources Mixc - Youchao Cup" Hongqiao Town Celebrity Basketball Invitational Tournament were held in the MixC in Hongqiao Town, Minhang District.
Other highlights of this year's Basketball Festival, such as the Shanghai Basketball Development Forum and the Shanghai Chaoku Basketball Culture Shoe Exhibition, also kicked off at the same time.
The event will last for two weeks and is divided into four sections: Shanghai Basketball Development Forum, Basketball Carnival, 2021 "Sports Hongqiao" Celebrity Basketball Tournament, and Shanghai Chaoku Basketball Culture Shoe Show. The combination of "Forum + Carnival + Mass Events + Cultural Shoe Exhibition" gathered into a unique basketball party, allowing citizens to enjoy the happy charm of basketball in this autumn, and also making Wuzhong Road Commercial Circle, a commercial landmark in southwest Shanghai, full of popularity.
Since 2016, around the development of basketball, inviting well-known experts and scholars in the field of basketball at home and abroad to plan and hold influential forum activities is almost the highlight of the Shanghai Citizens Basketball Festival. Previous forums have discussed the four basketball dimensions of amateur basketball, competitive basketball, wealth basketball and cultural basketball; they have discussed what the holding of the Basketball World Cup can bring to Shanghai; and they have also focused on the new opportunities and challenges of the basketball industry under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control.

As one of the important components of this year's Civic Basketball Festival, the 2021 "Sports Hongqiao" Celebrity Basketball Tournament is dominated by grassroots basketball masters, and the men's 3V3 competition, three-point competition, and skill competition are set up.
