The 2024 NBA Summer League Finals have come to an end, with the Miami Heat defeating the Memphis Grizzlies 120-118 to claim the Summer League championship. At the tournament held in Las Vegas, several up-and-coming stars showcased their skills and increased their market value.
Players who were drafted earlier this year also played in the Summer League. Champion Zachary · Richel and champion Alex · Sal did not meet expectations and therefore failed to succeed. And other young stars have also seized the opportunity and performed well in their respective teams.
Here's a list of the top five rookies with the highest points per game average in the 2024 NBA Summer League. (Note: This list takes into account rookies who have played at least three games)

1. Dalton · Knecht (Los Angeles Lakers)
The Los Angeles Lakers were thrilled after selecting Dalton · Knecht with the 17th pick. The former Tennessee Volunteer star proved why the Lakers made the right choice to sign him. The 23-year-old leads all rookies in points per game in Summer League.
Kneckett averaged 21.3 points per game in three games. The rookie shot 41.8 percent from the field, including 39.1 percent from three-point range. He also averaged 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
2. Reed · Shepard (Houston Rockets)
The Houston Rockets selected Reed · Shepard with the third overall pick, and their decision was confirmed after Summer League. The 20-year-old point guard was one of the best performers in the tournament.
The former Kentucky star made four appearances in the Summer League, averaging 20 points per game. Reed · Shepard shot 50 percent from the field, including 27.8 percent from downtown. The rookie also contributed 4.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists.
3. Ron · Holland (Detroit Pistons)
Ron · Holland II was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the fifth overall pick. The 19-year-old power forward averaged 18.8 points per game in four games in the Summer League.
Holland is shooting 40.8 percent from the field, including 23.5 percent from beyond the three-point line. He also contributed 6.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. The rookie excelled on the defensive end, averaging 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.
4. Kyle · Weil (Miami Heat)
The Miami Heat signed Kyle · Vale with the 15th pick. The former Oregon and Indiana star was one of the brightest players in the recently concluded tournament.
Kyle · Weil averaged 18.0 points per game in six games while shooting 61.8 percent from the field, including 30 percent from three-point range. The 20-year-old is solid on rebounding and his defense is eye-catching. The rookie averaged 8.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.5 rebounds per game.
5. Tristan Da · Silva (Orlando Magic)
The Orlando Magic signed Tristan Da· Silva with the 18th pick. The former Colorado forward averaged 17.7 points per game in three games while shooting 60.7 percent from the field, including a staggering 58.8 percent from distance on five or more attempts.
Tristan Da · Silva averaged 4.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game in Summer League.
