Qiaoxi District: "Caring parents" help them grow up, and women volunteer to accompany children

On July 24, the Qiaoxi District Women's Federation launched a training session for the "Caring Parents" Women's Volunteer Care Action, and awarded honorary certificates to the five newly recruited "caring parents". The newly recruited "caring parents" will be paired with de facto unsupported children and left-behind children in the jurisdiction, and enhance their relationship with their children in the form of household visits, psychological care, and travel together, and send them living subsidies and school supplies and other assistance materials.

It is understood that the District Women's Federation continues to promote the full coverage of de facto unsupported children, left-behind children and other children in distress, and has recruited 26 volunteers such as the executive committee of the Women's Federation, advanced women's models, and caring people in society to become "caring parents", pairing 25 pairs with de facto unsupported children and 3 pairs of left-behind children. In the next step, the District Women's Federation will organize and mobilize more caring people to join the volunteer service of "caring parents", strengthen training and guidance, so that "caring parents" can more effectively and professionally provide psychological comfort and other assistance services for paired children in difficulty, and effectively serve as children's emotional "confidants" and "guides" for growth.
