It is reported that Subaru's first STI high-performance pure electric vehicle, the Solterra STI model, is scheduled to make its debut at the end of August or early September this year, and is expected to go on sale before the end of this year at the earliest. At the same time, the new model is also expected to be imported and sold in the market next year, and as a segment model, it is expected to compete with high-performance pure electric models such as Tesla's Model Y performance, and its market price is expected to be more cost-effective than the former.
It is reported that the production version of the Subaru Solterra STI model will use a series of specific design elements, and is expected to use the same exterior design as the concept car, and will be offered with a custom pink front scoop, side skirts, and a large rear wing. In addition, the new car will also be offered with a specially tuned chassis as well as exterior aerodynamics packages.
In terms of power, the Subaru Solterra STI model will be driven by dual front and rear motors, with a combined maximum output of 186kW (160kW for the base model of the Solterra), and is expected to be adapted to a 72.8kWh battery pack, and is expected to provide a larger battery pack in the later stage to improve its range.
