Macao, July 21 (Reporter Fu Zimei) In order to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland, the "Academic Youth Celebration of the Return to the Motherland and the International Youth Dance Festival" was held from July 20 to 25.

More than 700 young dancers from 35 youth dance troupes danced in front of the Ruins of St. Paul's, a World Heritage site in Macao, and performed at the square square and Senado square. Dressed in costumes from around the world, the parade dancers performed along the streets and alleys of Rua de St. Paul's, Selling Grass and Lareva of Banzhang Tong, attracting more than 10,000 citizens and tourists to stop and experience the enthusiasm and dynamism brought by the dance.

On 21 July, two pop-up performances were held at the Macao Science Center and Grand Lisboa Palace Integrated Resort, where young dancers from all over the world and Macao performed a variety of dances, including street dance, ethnic and folk dance, jazz dance, Chinese dance and Latin dance. The event breaks through the stage restrictions, allowing residents and tourists to enjoy the "dance arts" more closely, and have the opportunity to learn "dance skills" with dancers from all over the world. The dancers performed in the atrium of the Science Museum Exhibition Center, showing their dancing posture energetically, full of youthful vitality, and hundreds of spectators continued to applaud the entire Science Museum, and the scene was lively.

The highlight of the event, the "Academic Youth Celebration of the Return to the Motherland Extravaganza", will be staged at the Macao Arena on the evening of 22 July.
