On the afternoon of July 20, the 2024 DJI Drone Crossing Skills Competition (Phase II) organized by Huashang Sports, DJI and Qujiang E-sports was held in the West Square of Qujiang Athletic Center, and 26 players participated in the competition.
In recent years, with the development and popularization of drone technology, drone racing has become an emerging science and technology sport, together with e-sports and robot fighting, and called the three "intelligent technology sports", attracting the participation of many drone enthusiasts. In line with the trend, China Commercial Sports and DJI jointly held a series of drone crossing skills competitions, attracting many local drones to participate.
The 2024 DJI Drone Crossing Skills Competition (Phase II) is still an obstacle course, in which competitors need to operate the drone through the track from a first-person perspective, passing through different rings and a corridor with a high bottom, and finally ranking according to the time it takes.
On the afternoon of July 20, the hot weather could not stop the enthusiasm of the contestants, and the contestants came to the competition site early to debug the equipment and familiarize themselves with the venue.
At 2:30 p.m., the competition officially began, and the contestants showed their superb skills on the field, especially the first few children on the field, whose flying results caused bursts of applause from the audience.
After nearly two hours of competition, the competition ended perfectly. Contestant Xu Kai won the first prize, contestants Liu Tianze and Nie Shilong won the second prize, and contestants Zhang Jinwei, Jiang Tongyue and Yan Peng won the third prize, and they won the winning gift package worth 2,000 yuan, 1,000 yuan and 800 yuan respectively.
It is worth mentioning that the winners of this competition conducted a racing performance around the Qujiang Athletic Center on the spot, allowing them to appreciate the style of the Qujiang Athletic Center from the air.
The 2024 DJI Drone Crossing Skills Competition (Phase II) is organized by China Commercial Sports, DJI and Qujiang E-sports, and the competition is also supported by brands such as Xi'an Yuntong Bobao Automobile, HideFxxx, and Xi'an Denza.
