On the evening of July 11, Xianyou County's "National Anti-Fraud in Action" publicity campaign kicked off in Lizhong Pedestrian Street, the county seat, popularizing the knowledge of preventing telecommunication network fraud, enhancing the public's awareness of anti-fraud, and setting off a national anti-fraud upsurge. Zheng Bingzhong, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, and Cai Guomin, member of the Party Committee of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, deputy county magistrate and director of the County Public Security Bureau, attended.
The event was jointly sponsored by the Political and Legal Committee of the County Party Committee, the Propaganda Department of the County Party Committee, and the County Public Security Bureau. At the event, Zheng Bingzhong read out the proposal of "National Anti-Fraud in Action", and Cai Guomin deployed the "National Anti-Fraud Publicity Month" and the publicity work in the second half of the year.
Since 2023, the county public security bureau has achieved remarkable results in cracking down on telecommunications network fraud, successfully recovering more than 5.8 million yuan of defrauded funds for the public, and avoiding more than 8 million yuan of losses for more people through early warning and dissuasion and other measures. The event held a ceremony for the return of stolen goods involved in fraud, and the leaders attending the meeting returned the defrauded funds to some of the victims.
Many wonderful programs were also staged at the scene, such as Allegro, cross talk, three and a half sentences, etc., through down-to-earth performances and humorous ways to convey anti-fraud knowledge to the crowd.
At the same time, the county public security bureau, together with a number of anti-fraud member units, carefully arranged publicity booths, set up interactive games and prize quiz sessions, and popularized common telecommunication network fraud routines and methods through entertaining and educational methods. The down-to-earth publicity method and immersive interactive experience attracted many passing citizens to stop and participate, and improved the "immunity" of anti-fraud in a burst of laughter.
