In the highly competitive field of pigeon pigeons, the Weissenma family, and especially the Netherlands fancier Wen·dela Wiersema, are in the spotlight for their outstanding performances and brilliant results.
Wendela was influenced by her father to become involved in pigeon racing, and when her family moved to a new location in 2007, she started raising pigeons on her own at the age of 10 and soon raced on her own. Not only did she study biology and medicine at the University of Hanse in Groningen, but she also managed her hobby to make a name for herself.

In the 2020 season, Wendela won the first, second and third place of Chimay of 13,945 pigeons! Wendela has been delivering great results year after year, winning a first prize in the junior national championship and becoming a household name at the top level as well. Since 2017, she has won numerous national championship titles, such as 1st National Champion not nominated young birds, 2nd National Champion Young Birds, 2nd National Champion Young Birds, 3rd National Champion Young Birds, 4th National Champion Young Birds, 4th National Champion WHZB/TBOTB, 5th National Champion NPO Middle Distance, etc.
In 2019, Wendela won the titles of 1st Nominated Pigeon Nominated in Province 10, 1st General Northern Non-nominated Pigeon in Province 10, 1st General Nominated Northern in Province 10, 2nd Champion Middle Distance Young Birds in Province 10, 2nd Champion Champion in Province 10 Non-Nominated Pigeon, 3rd Champion Champion in Province 10, 5th Middle Distance in Province 10, 9th Speed in Province 10, 10th Middle Distance in Province 10 and 10th One Day Long Distance Non-nominated in Province 10.
In 2021, Wendela once again won the title of 1st National Champion NPO not nominated young birds, and her youngsters did particularly well in races ranging from 390km to 500km, such as NL21-4770133 Thass (NL21-4770133) in the PIPA ranking and the National Long Distance window, and in the demanding race from Reimis (493km) she achieved an 8th NPO 1976 p. and an average velocity of 1016 m/min after 8 hours of flying. Of the total 6,036 pigeons, only 59 achieved a velocity of 1,000 m/min.
Max won a 1st Bidine against 3,478 pigeons, and his sire is Green Junior 532, bred by the PIPA Racing Breeding Center, bred from Best Kittel, 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon Sprint KBDB 2017, and the dam is Sister 2nd Ace Pigeon, and Max is a grandson of Elelene, sister of Wendra, winner of a 1st Bierdinne 12,726 p.
NL21-4770196 Noor won a 6th Venlo against 697 pigeons, a 17th NPO Regions 1-4 Reimes against 1,976 pigeons and a 47th NPO Regions 1-4 from Chalons against 1,068 pigeons, and won a 2nd Ace Pigeon Young Birds in Sector 10, a 3rd National Ace Pigeon Young Birds NPO 2021 (young fanciers under 30) and a 16th National Best Young Pigeon WHZB-TBOTB 2021.

In the 2022 season, Wendela is still doing well. She finished 3rd, 5th and 8th in Chalons on the first weekend of July, and they won 32 prizes out of a total of 38 pigeons. Her NL21-4770166 Jackpot Noortje won the title of 1st Ace Pigeon Middle Distance and 1st Ace Pigeon Allround in Sector 10 Combine 2, 4th Ace Pigeon Middle Distance and 5th Ace Pigeon Allround in Sector 10; NL21-4770191 Sylvester won the title of 8th Nat. Ace Pigeon Middle Distance NPO, 1st Nat. Ace Pigeon Middle Distance NPO '25, 3rd Ace Pigeon Middle Distance Sector 10 Combine 2, 3rd Ace Pigeon Allround Ace Pigeon Sector 10 Sector 2. Max, on the other hand, won a first prize from Weert against 2,805 pigeons.
Wendra's · Weissenma proved her extraordinary position in the field of carrier pigeons with her strength and achievements, and also made the name of the Weissenma family shine brightly in the pigeon world.
Weissenma has not only been racing in Europe, but has also performed very well in China. Mr. Wu of Xi'an pigeon fancier Huijin Pigeon Loft used the imported pigeon of Weissenma to participate in the Kaier International Pigeon Love One Loft (Spring Loft) race, and won a 27th and 37th place in the third leg race, which was very fruitful.
