Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality is available today on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Steam.
The "Crossover Adventure" game, starring Judy Whitaker and David Tennant, was originally scheduled to be released on September 30, but ultimately failed to materialize. The Switch version of the game will be further delayed, and the developers finally decided that it will be available two weeks later, on October 28.
This is a new extension of the virtual reality game Doctor Who: The Edge of Time, which was launched in 2019. The new version adds a new storyline, new enemies and, perhaps most notably, a meeting with the fan's favorite Tenth Doctor, as well as the new game.
Edge of Reality is the latest Doctor Who game project at Maze Theory Studios in the UK, which has developed the Edge of Time VR game and the recently acclaimed spin-off game Lonely Assassin that marked the blink of an eye in the third season.
