Moreover, if she is really a person with good deeds, she can kill Baoyu and Sister Feng with two paper figures, how can she be so poor and white-faced?
But then again, if Ma Daopo doesn't have any real skills, then how are Baoyu and Sister Feng crazy, the author clearly connects the madness of the two with Ma Daopo's nightmare magic.
If you understand the true metaphor of this event, you will find that the author hides the truth behind the storyline.
This is Baochai's first showdown with Daiyu, and it is also a temptation of Sister Feng to Daiyu.

If we pay close attention, we will find that there are at least three flaws in the entire Ma Dao Po incident.
First of all, the Ma Daopo incident was caused by Jia Huan, because Jia Huan deliberately burned Baoyu's face, which caused Aunt Zhao to be scolded by Mrs. Wang, so Aunt Zhao listened to Ma Daopo's instigation and wanted to kill Baoyu and Sister Feng in one shot.
And Ma Daopo's so-called "magic" is to give Aunt Zhao two villains and the "five ghosts", and ask Aunt Zhao to write the birthdays of the two on the villains, and then stuff them into their beds.
But let's think about it, with Aunt Zhao's identity and reputation, how can such a task be completed?
In the entire Jia Mansion, Wang Xifeng was not polite to her, she scolded like a slave at every turn, even Ping'er, who has always been gentle, looked down on her, Aunt Zhao usually avoided Wang Xifeng, how could she have a chance to run to her bedroom to make a move.
Baoyu is the same, and, immediately after that, the author clearly wrote: At this time, not long before Baoyu was scalded, how did Aunt Zhao find the next phone?
This flaw is also a flaw.
Secondly, it would be fine if Baoyu was crazy alone, but this time Sister Feng also went crazy, and she was even more crazy than Baoyu, so much so that she would cut people when she saw them with a big knife.
The good ones have become like this, and in the background of the ancients, I am afraid that people with a little common sense of life will associate with the evil spirit.
In fact, someone did propose this, and the original text reads:
"At the moment, everyone is gossiping, some say that they invite Duangong to send them away, some say that they invite witches to dance gods, and some recommend Zhang Zhenren of the Jade Emperor Pavilion, all kinds of noise."
But as a result, the important people in Jiafu were all present at the time, even Wang Ziteng's wife was present, but there were so many people, and none of them took these suggestions seriously, and they didn't see any action in Jiafu to "please God" and invite the mage.
He also said that the final result was "no validity".
Just imagine, with the network power of Jiafu and Wangfu, what kind of mage and Taoist priest can't be invited, can't they still break a single Ma Daopo?
As we said earlier, if Ma Daopo really has Taoism, how can she be poor and white-faced. Besides, even if Ma Daopo is a little evil, why can't others break her technique, is it possible that she is the best in the world?
This flaw is also two.
Finally, we look at the way a monk treats Bao and Feng together, and there are two details that clearly tell us that they are not evil, but because of infatuation.
The monk took the jade over, and after the operation, he said to Jia Zheng:
"This thing is spiritual, and it is not to be blasphemed, and it hangs on the threshold of the bedroom, and he shall be placed in one room, and no one shall be guilty of it, except his own wife and mother." Thirty-three days later, he retired from illness and returned to the same old age. ”
There are two important points in this passage: one is that one cannot see anyone of the opposite sex except his wife and mother; The second is to keep it like this for thirty-three days, and then it will be restored to the same as before.
After "Don't make the yin people offend", Fat Yan Zhai commented:
Why is this phrase "important"? When Lin Daiyu first entered Jia's mansion, Jia's mother asked about her illness, and she mentioned the words of the leper monk and said:
"If you want to be good, you will not see crying from now on, and no one with a foreign surname will be seen except your parents, and you will have peace in this life."
The comparison between the two shows that Baoyu's disease and Daiyu's disease are the same, so the leper monk treats them in the same way. And Daiyu's illness is caused by infatuation, so Baoyu's illness should also be caused by infatuation.

It can be seen from this that Baoyu's madness this time has nothing to do with scolding Dao Po, but has a substantial relationship with feelings.

In the first eighty episodes, Baoyu had a total of three episodes, in addition to the twenty-five episodes this time, there were also the third and fifty-seventh episodes, and the last two episodes were for Lin Daiyu.
And if we read the twenty-fifth chapter carefully, we will find that this time the madness is actually for Lin Daiyu, and it has nothing to do with Ma Daopo.
After Baoyu's face was burned, he basically stayed at home and didn't go out to meet people, only Daiyu often talked with him. On this day, bored, Daiyu walked to Yihong Courtyard again.
But this day is different from the past, Yihong Courtyard is full of people, Wang Xifeng, Xue Baochai, and Li Kun are all here, it is because it is usually deserted, so Daiyu feels a little strange, and after entering the door, she asked:
"It's all done today, who invited you from the next post?"
But no one answered her question, and Sister Feng opened her mouth to mention the matter of tea, and said:
"I sent a girl to send two bottles of tea a while ago, where did you go?"
黛玉笑道:
"Oh, but I forgot, thank you."
Sister Feng continued to chase the topic of tea, and asked again:
"Are you okay with it?"
But without waiting for Sister Feng to finish speaking, Baoyu rushed to say:
"It's just a good reason, but I don't know what others taste."
Baochai answered:
"The taste is light, but the color is not very good."
Sister Feng answered:
"It was a Siamese tribute. I don't taste it interesting, it's not as good as what I eat every day. ”
Daiyu answered:
"I'm eating well, I don't know what your spleen and stomach are?"
As I pondered this conversation, I always felt that it was about tea on the surface, but it was actually talking about something else. Coupled with the frequent annotations of Fat Yan Zhai here, every sentence seems to refer to something else.
To briefly summarize the attitude of several people present towards "tea":
- Baoyu: The reasoning is good, but I don't think it's good;
- Baochai: The taste is acceptable, but the color is not very good-looking;
- Sister Feng: You can drink it, but it's not interesting;
- Daiyu: I think it's good, I don't know what you think?
Ladies and gentlemen, if you don't know what they are talking about, what do you think they are talking about?
Anyway, my first impression was that they were discussing Baoyu's marriage, and if it weren't for that, their performance would be incomprehensible.
First of all, Sister Feng, Li Kun, and Baochai suddenly came to Baoyu's room, and even Daiyu felt a little strange, which showed that they had something to do.
Secondly, as soon as Daiyu entered the door, Sister Feng chased after her about tea, why?
Originally, in ancient times, women were hired to "eat tea", because it was said that tea trees could not be transplanted, otherwise they would not survive. Therefore, when a man gives a dowry to a woman, it is called "eating tea".
If we substitute "hired" into the chat of several people, we will find that they are talking about something else entirely, and we write the translated result below:
- Baoyu: "Golden Jade Relationship" sounds good, but I don't like it;
- Baochai: I can accept it, but because it doesn't meet the wishes of Jia Mu and others, it's not decent after all;
- Sister Feng: I'm sandwiched between Mother Jia and Mrs. Wang, and I'm really embarrassed;
- Daiyu: I think it's good.
When Daiyu first came, she didn't know the connotation of their conversation, so she said that she "ate well".
Baoyu listened and hurriedly said:
"You really like to eat, take this one of mine and eat it."
Baoyu's subtext should be:
Sister Feng continued:
"If you love to eat, I still have it there!"
Sister Feng's subtext should be: If you can really make up your mind, I can stop it.
Between the three people, only Baochai did not say a word, watching coldly.

Lin Daiyu said:
"If it's true, I'll send the girl to take it."
Sister Feng said:
"You don't need to take it, I'll send someone to deliver it. I have one more thing to ask you to send together. ”
Lin Daiyu smiled when she heard this:
"Listen, this is a little tea from their family, and they have come to summon people."
After hearing this, Sister Feng's tone immediately changed, and she said:
"Please, you gossip all this gossip, eat tea and water. Since you have eaten our family's tea, why don't you become a daughter-in-law to our family? ”
The two "poured" words reveal her dissatisfaction with Daiyu, if translated, it should be understood like this:
- Do I still ask of you? (Subtext: You don't work hard for your own affairs, but I beg you?) ）
- Where's your turn to gossip? (Subtext: Your own business, you are gossiping on the sidelines, and you don't hurry up and fight for it yourself, which causes me to suffer some splint anger in the middle.) ）
Li Kun knew Daiyu's petty nature, so he immediately played a round on the side and said with a smile:
"It's true that our second aunt's witty is good."
But Lin Daiyu didn't appreciate it, she changed her face to Wang Xifeng and said:
"What a witty, it's just a poor mouth and a disgusting tongue."
Moreover, after speaking, he also spat at Wang Xifeng. You must know that although Lin Daiyu is petty, she will never do such a rude thing except for Jia Baoyu, let alone Wang Xifeng, the head of Rongguo Mansion.
It can be seen that the weight of what Wang Xifeng said is very heavy, so that Lin Daiyu is really angry.
Seeing this, Sister Feng was no longer polite, she said:
"Don't dream, you have made a daughter-in-law for our family, what is missing?"
Then he pointed to Baoyu and said:
"You see, the characters and the family are not worthy, the foundation is not worthy, and the furniture is not worthy? Who else does that insult you? ”
Sister Feng said this kind of thing, it can be said that she is extremely mean, and she is the family, the foundation, and the furniture, for Daiyu, who lives alone in Jiafu, it can be said that she is a cone of words.
Wang Xifeng said such things, it can be seen that she is already very dissatisfied with Daiyu, otherwise with her character of refusing to offend people and her understanding of Daiyu, she would definitely not be able to say such a thing.
Here, Yan Zhai criticized: "Catharsis" means catharsis, referring to Wang Xifeng's venting of Su Ri's grievances on Daiyu. And the words "good to follow the text" obviously refer to the madness of Baoyu and Sister Feng in the later text, and it can be seen that the madness of the two is directly related to the above dialogue.
When Daiyu heard this, she got up and was about to leave. And Xue Baochai, who had been watching coldly, got up and pulled her by at this time, and said:
"Feng'er is in a hurry, and she doesn't come back to sit. It's not fun to go. ””
Baochai's move was deliberately to put Daiyu in an embarrassing situation, with the hostile attitude of the two before the forty-second time, this understanding should be very reasonable.
Fortunately, the girl in Mrs. Wang's mansion came and said that Wang Ziteng's wife was visiting, so Li Kun hurriedly pulled Sister Feng away, which could be regarded as relieving Daiyu's embarrassment.
Baoyu also said:
"Sister Lin, you stand for a while, and I'll say a word."
When Sister Feng heard this, she didn't forget to sarcastically mock Daiyu before leaving, pushed Daiyu into the house, and said:
"You've been told to speak."
However, at this time, Baoyu was depressed and difficult to help himself. So, just tugging on Daiyu's sleeve and giggling on the side, the original text reads:
"I have words in my heart, but I can't say them in my mouth."
Why can't you say it? The town of Ma Daopo is the superficial reason, as if it is the front of the Fengyue Treasure Book, but it is just the author's ecstasy array with "fake village dialect".
And behind the appearance, that is, the opposite of Fengyue Baojian, is the true connotation of this event.

According to my personal understanding, Baoyu knows the connotation behind this, so he has repeatedly hinted to Daiyu to express his loyalty.
The whole event should look like this:
Bao Dailian is supported by Jia's mother, while Mrs. Wang, Aunt Xue and others support Xue Baochai, and there is also the power of the Wang family behind Mrs. Wang.
Therefore, in this time, Wang Xifeng, Li Kun, and Xue Baochai suddenly came to Yihong Courtyard, and in terms of interests, these three people are all on Mrs. Wang's side. And Mrs. Wang Ziteng, who has never shown up, came unexpectedly this time, probably for this matter.
In other words, they planned a "golden and jade relationship" together, and asked Wang Xifeng, Xue Baochai, and Li Kun to go to Baoyu to discuss or test.
However, Wang Xifeng, as the head of Rongguo Mansion, has to listen to Mrs. Wang's words on the one hand, but on the other hand, he can't disobey Jia's mother. In addition, Xue Baochai has a strong talent for managing the family, if she marries Baoyu, with Baoyu's status in Jiafu, Baochai is likely to replace herself as the head of the family.
So I personally think that this temptation is also a measure of Sister Feng's heart to determine whether to fall to Mrs. Wang and Xue Baochai in this matter. Of course, the result was clear at a glance, Lin Daiyu's performance did not meet her expectations, and Sister Feng turned her face on the spot, laying the groundwork for Sister Feng to support Xue Baochai later.
For all this, Baoyu saw it in her eyes and was anxious in her heart. Hearing the news of Mrs. Wang Ziteng's arrival increased his fear, so he was stupid when he was in a hurry.
Baoyu first screamed "good headache", then "I want to die", and then began to "take a knife and a stick" and "look for death and life". Baoyu's performance will not be fake, after all, he has such a crazy record, and fifty-seven times, he also went crazy because Zijuan tested him.
However, Wang Xifeng's performance is very strange.
You must know that when Baoyu became ill, Sister Feng and Li Kun had just walked out, and it stands to reason that she should be the first to get the news.
But the result? Baoyu made a lot of trouble in the garden, not only alarming Jia Mu, Jia Zheng, Mrs. Wang Ziteng, etc., but also Jia Rong, Jia Yun, Jia Ping and others, who had never had any roles, all took advantage of the chaos to run to the garden to see the excitement, but there was no trace of Sister Feng.
Because if Sister Feng and Baoyu are sick at the same time, then when Sister Feng leaves, there are Li Kun and Xue Baochai by her side, and the two of them will definitely be able to see it when she is sick, and others will naturally be able to get the news.
But after Baoyu became ill, Sister Feng had just left, and Li Kun and Baochai, who were traveling with her, ran into the garden one after another, why did she not know where she was?
In fact, Sister Feng's madness was that after everyone gathered in Yihong Courtyard, she held a knife to "kill chickens when you see chickens, and kill dogs when you see dogs", and rushed towards Yihong Courtyard with a clear goal, is this what a madman should do?
I think that after Sister Feng heard about this incident, she knew that it was caused by her, so that she made such a big noise. Such a result, whether it is for Jia Mu or Mrs. Wang, she has no way to explain it.
Therefore, in order to avoid trouble, she had to pretend to be crazy. Moreover, she must have heard about Baoyu's symptoms of "dancing knives and sticks", so she made a special trip to find a knife to imitate Baoyu, so that others would think that she and Baoyu were killed together. In this way, she can go from being a culprit to a victim, and naturally she can escape punishment.
Through the process of "healing" Baoyu by a monk, it can be seen that Baoyu was not mad by the town of Weizhen, but because of heart disease. So, what kind of heart disease does Sister Feng have that will cause her and Baoyu to go crazy at the same time? Apparently not.
In addition, there is another evidence, after Baoyu recuperated for thirty-three days, all kinds of people in Jiafu visited him in Yihong Courtyard, but Sister Feng never showed up.
This is very inconsistent with Sister Feng's code of conduct, because whether it is to please Jia's mother or Mrs. Wang's good, she should go to visit Baoyu. The reason why she has not shown up is precisely because she knows that Baoyu's almost fatal illness was caused by her.
