On July 8, 2024, the Yancheng Highway Development Center organized a team of experts at the city and county levels to carry out the activity of "Highway Doctors Entering the Road Section" in Jianhu County, and carried out on-site guidance for the three road sections listed for disposal at the municipal level in 2024.
Municipal and county-level "highway doctor" expert team on-site investigation of 3 listed rectification accident-prone road sections, along the line there are greater safety hazards of the level crossing, high embankment, waterfront road section to carry out field research, listened to the design unit Yancheng Traffic Design Institute Co., Ltd. on the accident-prone section of the construction drawing audit report, the experts at the meeting conducted a serious discussion, agreed that the design unit submitted the construction drawing design documents are detailed, the standard is appropriate, the design content is more comprehensive, basically in line with the current design specifications issued by the ministry, When the depth of construction drawing design is reached, it is agreed in principle to pass the review.
The "highway doctor" put forward suggestions according to the actual situation: first, further analyze and sort out the accident based on the traffic accident data and accident patterns, determine the safety improvement plan, and strengthen the investigation of the existing traffic safety facilities and road environment, and put forward corresponding measures in a targeted manner; the second is to further improve the canalization design of intersections; The third is to adopt multiple methods and channels to strengthen safety publicity and safety education, and improve the public's safety awareness.
