On July 8, the video reporter of Dahe Daily and Yu learned from China Aneng that China's Aneng professional rescue forces continued to carry out plugging operations on the front line of the Dongting Lake embankment, and as of 10 o'clock today, the Dongting Lake breach has been blocked 142.5 meters, and the remaining 83.5 meters of the breach.
On July 7, at the site of the first-line embankment breach of Dongting Lake in Tuanzhouyuan, Huarong County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, after the research and consultation of the China Aneng Technical Expert Group, it was proposed to combine the on-site traffic conditions to adopt the "mechanized two-way vertical plugging + ship water throwing" tactics, and step up the plugging operation in accordance with the procedures of "rushing to build a wrapping head, two-way vertical blocking, water throwing, assault closing, heightening and reinforcement, and anti-seepage and gas sealing".
The local government organized local forces to repair and consolidate roads, ensure the source of transportation materials, and cooperate with China Aneng bulldozers, excavators and other heavy engineering rescue equipment to carry out breach blocking. At the same time, the site also uses GPS measuring instrument, radar velocity meter and other professional equipment to measure at any time to grasp the change of water level and flow velocity at the breach in a timely manner, which provides an important basis for the efficient organization and orderly development of the plugging operation.
In order to ensure safety, they specially equipped 1 safety officer and 2 operators on each operation face, and adopted the method of "people do not stop and work in two shifts", which can not only ensure the safety of rescue personnel and equipment, but also greatly improve the efficiency of plugging.
