From June 26th to 27th in the rainy season, I watched eight excerpts of Peking Opera in the southwest corner of the intersection of Changjiang Road and Hongwu Road, namely "Soul Broken Baqiu", "Shilang Visits the Mother, Sitting in the Palace", "Fish Intestine Sword", "Mu Guiying Takes Charge and Holds the Seal", "Red Peach Mountain", "Wen Zhaoguan", "The Legend of the White Snake: Traveling to the Lake" and "Three Shops", all of which are traditional old operas, classic plays, and extra-play dramas.
"Fish Intestine Sword" and "Wen Zhaoguan" are both related to Wu Zixu. Wu Zixu's father and brother were unjustly killed by King Chuping, and Wu Zixu escaped by luck and went to Wu State, wanting to take revenge on Chu with troops. "Wen Zhaoguan" is to say that he turned white overnight, and with the help of Donggao Gong and Huangfu Ne, he finally passed the Zhaoguan Pass and successfully went to Wu. "Fish Intestine Sword" says that after Wu Zixu arrived in Wu State, he met Ji Guang by chance and was able to successfully borrow a teacher. Wu Zixu in "Fish Intestine Sword" is played by Yu Kuizhi, who is expressive and sings wonderfully, needless to say. It's just that there are some jokes, which seem to need to be considered, there is a sentence "chaotic rape of males", in fact, it is not others who rape males, it is traitors who mess with the world and the country. It is also said that Wu Zixu passed the Zhao Pass and hid in the garden of the Donggao Gong's house, and there is a saying of "the heart of the ape and the horse". Zhuo Ding is deep and immeasurable, and his heart is crazy. The heart ape and the horse naturally have the meaning of uncertainty, but it also refers to desire, so it expresses Wu Zixu's unsettled and restless, can you consider it again?
"Shilang Visits His Mother, Sitting in the Palace" and "Mu Guiying Takes Charge and Holds the Seal" are both Yang family dramas of the Zhao and Song dynasties. The Yang family is full of loyalty and martyrdom, becoming a legend, and there are many interpretations. In fact, in the Zhao and Song dynasties, Yang Ye sacrificed his life on the battlefield, which is recorded in history, but since then, many bridges have been mostly fictionalized by Xiangbi. Shiro was exiled in Liao, far luckier than many of his brothers. His visit to his mother has the entanglement of mother-son love, and the embarrassment of being in a foreign country. This play, which has been sung for many years, makes people think about it. The play "Mu Guiying in Charge", formerly known as "The Twelve Widows Conquering the West", has been carefully transformed to highlight Mu Guiying's sassy and heroic appearance, and "Holding the Seal" is handled skillfully and richly, Li Shengsu plays Mu Guiying, interpreting Mu Guiying's inner world, with ups and downs, twists and turns, not flat and straightforward, at a glance. Mu Guiying, played by Lee Shengsu, is both rigid and soft, heroic, and almost perfect.
Speaking of Li Shengsu playing Mu Guiying as the heroine of the three armies, Bai Suzhen in the scene of "The Legend of the White Snake: Swimming in the Lake" is amorous and charming. Bai Suzhen's subtle and bold, fiery and lingering pursuit of love was experienced by Li Shengsu one by one, and it was brilliantly presented on the stage, showing the infinite charm of Meipai art.
"Three Shops" is a chapter in the Romance of the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and it is also a story in "Speaking of Tang". Qin Qiong was escorted to Dengzhou, and Xu Maogong sent Shi Danai to come to the rescue, and this scene happened in three stores. The three stores are the names of the places, and they are also metaphors for Qin Qiong, Shi Danai, and Luo Zhou, the messenger who escorted Qin Qiong, each representing a family, and finally the three of them discussed and reached a consensus to make the situation bigger and move to Dengzhou. It's just that in this play, it doesn't seem to be completely clear about the relationship between Luo Zhou and Luo Cheng, but it is just that they are both surnamed Luo. Wei Laodao is also mentioned repeatedly in the lyrics, and Wei's status seems to be higher than that of Xu Maogong.
The story of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms is too familiar, and there is at least one version of the TV series about it, and it also has a good reputation. "Soul Broken Baqiu" does not have Zhuge Liang's play, as we all know, Shen Fengmei's Yue tune performance Zhuge Liang, singing majestic, decent, and acting Zhuge Liang alive, which can be called a swan song. "Soul Broken Baqiu" is the story of Zhao Yun, Zhang Fei, Wei Yan, and Huang Zhong according to Zhuge Liang's deployment, besieged and chased Zhou Yu to death. The protagonist of the play is naturally Zhou Yu, Wang Zheng grasps Zhou Yu's strength and narrowness, and he is remarkable. "Red Peach Mountain" is an interception of a scene in "Water Margin", Lin Chong, Guan Sheng, and Hua Rong are all first-class characters on Shuibo Liangshan written by Shi Nai'an, which should not be underestimated. But it was these three big heroes who stood up to the sky and the earth, fighting alone, but they were defeated by the guns of Yue'e, the female village of Red Peach Mountain. In the end, the three of them joined forces to defeat Zhang Yue'e, which was a bit of a three-year battle against Lu Bu, and barely won the taste of victory. Dai Zhongyu, who plays Zhang Yue'e, is capable and standing, which is refreshing. The Xiaoqing she played in "The Legend of the White Snake: Swimming in the Lake" is also very smart, well-behaved, and clever.
Peking Opera is the quintessence of the country and an art, which needs to be inherited and expanded. The eight excerpts, all of which are classic old operas, are often wonderful and attracted full applause under the guidance and promotion of famous Peking Opera performance artists such as Kuizhi and Li Shengsu.
