Time back to June 20th, on the same day, Sun and Xia, executives of a Chinese company, went from Beijing to the Philippine capital to discuss cooperation, but they did not expect that on the afternoon of June 21, Sun's assistant Zhao Ya received a request from Sun that something was going on and that he urgently needed to convert 15 million yuan into virtual currency Tether.
At the same time, at around 19 o'clock that night, Xia's family also received a request to convert 5 million yuan into Tether and transfer it to the other party's account as soon as possible.

By June 23, Sun and Xia had not eaten a drop of water for a few days, and Sun made a final call to his mother at 7 o'clock in the morning, saying that he had to pay for water to drink. After 3 o'clock in the afternoon, Sun sent a final message, "Mom, can you call some first?" ”

But the kidnappers did not accept to call little by little, because they were afraid of being locked by the police, so they had to ask for the account to be informed, and within a few minutes the negotiated 3 million yuan would be transferred to the account requested by the kidnappers. But what is infuriating is that although 3 million yuan has been called, Xia has not been redeemed.
On June 24, the unfortunate thing still happened, although the ransom was paid, the police found the body of Sun's Xia by the lake 500 kilometers from Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
The identity of the kidnapper was revealed
The kidnappers were outraged, and after many days of police investigation, even the FBI intervened, because one of the victims was a Chinese American, and the Philippine police said on July 4 that the suspect had been identified, but was still being pursued.
According to the victims' families, at the time of the negotiations, a male kidnapper's accent was similar to that of the Fujian side. Some netizens exposed a photo of Li Na who is suspected to be Li Na, because the accents of Taiwan and Fujian are still very similar, so if you infer from the accent, the man may be Fujian, or he may be from the same place as this Li Na.
And after investigation, it was found that the woman was involved in many cases, not just this kidnapping case.
