On July 5th, the first member congress of the fourth session of the school trade union was held in the lecture hall of the school office building. The meeting was attended by 94 official delegates. Cheng Xiaoyan, chairman of the Nanjing Federation of Science, Education, Health and Sports Trade Unions, and Fang Shicai, a second-level researcher, attended the meeting for guidance.
At 8:30 a.m., a preparatory meeting was held, where the delegates listened to the report on the preparations for the conference, and approved the agenda of the conference, the list of the presidium of the conference and the list of staff of the conference.
At 8:45 a.m., a formal meeting was held, and Lu Yong, deputy secretary of the party committee, presided over the meeting.
The participants listened carefully to and reviewed the work report entitled "Keeping Integrity, Innovation, Warm Heart and Cohesion for the High-quality Development of the School and the Construction of a Happy Southern Railway" made by Comrade Shi Mingxiang on behalf of the Third Trade Union Committee; listened to the financial work report made by Comrade Geng Qiufang on behalf of the third trade union committee; Listened to and deliberated the work report made by Comrade Yu Chunping on behalf of the Third Trade Union Funds Review Committee. The conference elected 9 members of the Fourth Committee of the School Trade Union and 3 members of the Trade Union Funds Review Committee.
Cheng Xiaoyan expressed warm congratulations on the successful convening of the first member congress of the fourth session of the trade union of our school, fully affirmed the work of the school trade union in the past three years and the role it has played in the trade union system of science, education, health and sports, and put forward four requirements for the new trade union committee elected: first, we must always adhere to the overall leadership of the party and maintain the correct direction of the trade union work; Second, it is necessary to stimulate the vitality of trade union organizations and unite the joint force of school development; Third, we must always adhere to the basic responsibility of rights protection services and effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of employees; Fourth, we must always adhere to the self-building of trade unions and create learning-oriented, service-oriented, and innovative trade union organizations.
On behalf of the party committee and administration of the school, He Xingchu, secretary of the party committee, expressed warm congratulations on the successful convening of the conference, congratulated the newly elected members of the trade union committee and the trade union fund review committee, and put forward four hopes for the new trade union committee: first, to strengthen the party's overall leadership over the work of the trade union; the second is to make new achievements in the high-quality development of the school; the third is to show new responsibilities in promoting democratic management; Fourth, it is necessary to stimulate new vitality in reform and innovation. He Xingchu emphasized that the work of the trade union involves people's livelihood, public opinion, people's will and other aspects, which is related to the overall development of the school's career, the school has high hopes for the work of the new trade union committee, and the majority of teachers and staff are full of expectations for the work of the new trade union committee. It is hoped that the new trade union committee will unite all teachers and staff to form a strong joint force with a vigorous and upward spirit, and highlight the new achievements of the trade union organization in forging ahead with the "14th Five-Year Plan" and continuing to promote the high-quality development of the school.
