On July 5, 2024, the "Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and A" Youth Development Forum (Phase VII) jointly organized by the Aba County Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Youth League Committee of the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Fudan University was successfully held. This forum focuses on the knowledge of gastric cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, thyroid cancer and some epidemic tumors, aiming to improve the public's understanding of tumors and promote cancer screening and prevention.
The leaders and experts who participated in this forum included Ye Shuang, deputy chief physician of Fudan University Cancer Hospital (Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Fudan University), Zhou Changming, chief physician of public health of the Department of Cancer Prevention, Cheng Jie, attending physician of the Second Department of Gastric Surgery, Fu Fangqiu, attending physician of thoracic surgery, Feng Yun, attending physician of liver surgery, Wang Yunjun, deputy chief physician of head and neck surgery, Tang Lichen, deputy chief physician of breast surgery, Zerang Tashi, secretary of the Aba County Party Committee of the Tuan, and more than 320 people from Aba County Hospital, Aba County Tibetan Hospital, Representatives of young doctors from Aba County Center for Disease Control and Prevention and some cadres and masses participated in the forum online and offline.

First of all, Zerang Tashi, secretary of the Aba County Committee of the Communist Youth League, gave a detailed introduction to the significance and purpose of the forum around the theme of the "Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and A" Youth Development Forum, and expressed his sincere gratitude to the guests. Secretary Zerang Tashi pointed out that the purpose of this forum is to further advocate the whole society to take active action, disseminate the concept of scientific cancer prevention, popularize anti-cancer health knowledge, strengthen personal health responsibility, and guide the formation of an independent and self-disciplined healthy lifestyle, where everyone participates, everyone does their best, and everyone enjoys, so as to form a daily life that loves, pursues and promotes health.
Secondly, seven medical experts from Fudan University Cancer Hospital shared the causes and preventive measures of gastric cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, thyroid cancer, breast cancer and other cancers.
Ye Shuang

Mr. Ye Shuang focused on the Youth League Committee of Fudan Affiliated Cancer Hospital to correspond to the four concepts of "prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation" with the four suits in the playing cards, and innovatively produced China's first playing card for the purpose of tumor science popularization. In order to allow young doctors to give full play to the role of cancer prevention science, actively popularize tumor knowledge to patients inside and outside the hospital, and at the same time, go out of the hospital to the wider society, go to buildings and communities, disseminate cancer prevention and treatment knowledge, promote cancer prevention, early diagnosis and early treatment, serve the population, and protect people's health.
Zhou Changming

Mr. Zhou Changming mainly focused on explaining tumor screening and prevention, and shared with us that tumor screening refers to the process of timely detection and diagnosis of tumors through a series of medical examination methods. These tests include blood tests, imaging tests, tissue biopsies, etc. Through tumor screening, we can detect tumors early, providing a more favorable opportunity for treatment. At the same time, early detection of tumors can also reduce the cost of treatment and reduce the financial burden on patients and families. First of all, preventing tumors can reduce the risk of disease and reduce morbidity. By changing bad lifestyle habits, such as quitting smoking, limiting alcohol, eating a balanced diet, exercising moderately, etc., we can reduce the risk of cancer. Secondly, preventing tumors can also improve quality of life. A healthy lifestyle not only helps prevent tumors but also improves our overall health and makes us more energetic.
Chen Jie

Mr. Chen Jie focused on sharing that the screening of gastric cancer is mainly aimed at high-risk groups, such as people over 40 years old and people with a history of chronic gastritis and gastric ulcers. Screening recommendations include regular gastroscopy and other relevant tests as recommended by your doctor. In terms of prevention, experts recommend establishing healthy eating habits, avoiding overeating, reducing the consumption of cold, spicy, excessively hot, too hard food, and high-salt foods such as smoked and pickled, and at the same time need to quit smoking and limit alcohol to maintain a happy mood.
Fu Fangqiu

Mr. Fu Fangqiu mainly focused on explaining the screening of lung cancer, and suggested screening in advance and low-dose spiral CT examination. In terms of prevention, experts recommend quitting smoking, avoiding passive smoking, and taking protective measures for people at risk of occupational exposure. At the same time, pay attention to indoor air quality to avoid the impact of air pollution on lung health.
Feng Yun

Teacher Feng Yun gave a detailed introduction to the screening of liver cancer and the prevention of liver cancer. He mentioned that liver cancer is mainly aimed at high-risk groups, such as patients with chronic hepatitis virus infection and patients with liver cirrhosis. Screening recommendations include regular serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and liver ultrasonography. In terms of prevention, experts emphasize the importance of hepatitis B vaccination and recommend that patients with chronic hepatitis should receive antiviral therapy as early as possible to control the replication of the hepatitis virus. In addition, maintaining good lifestyle habits, such as abstaining from alcohol and eating lightly, can also help reduce the risk of liver cancer.
Wang Yunjun

Professor Wang Yunjun emphasized the screening of thyroid cancer, which is aimed at high-risk groups, such as family history of tumors, history of cervical radiation exposure, etc. Screening recommendations include an ultrasound of the neck. For prevention, experts recommend maintaining a healthy lifestyle, avoiding exposure to radiation in the neck, and having regular neck check-ups.
Tang Lichen

Mr. Tang Lichen mentioned that breast cancer screening is mainly for women over 40 years old, especially high-risk groups. Screening recommendations include regular breast ultrasound and mammography. In terms of prevention, experts recommend that women maintain a healthy lifestyle, such as eating a balanced diet, exercising moderately, and maintaining a happy mood. In addition, women with high-risk factors, such as family genetic history, long-term oral hormone drugs, etc., should be screened and intervened as soon as possible.
Seven experts and teachers from Fudan University Cancer Hospital pointed out that screening for malignant tumors is one of the important means to prevent and control cancer. Through regular screening, the signs of malignant tumors can be detected early, the cure rate can be improved, and the mortality rate can be reduced. At the same time, the importance of preventing malignant tumors is emphasized, including maintaining a healthy lifestyle, reasonable diet, moderate exercise, and avoiding contact with carcinogens.
Finally, the secretary of the Aba County Committee of the Communist Youth League Zerang Tashi made a summary of the forum, he mentioned that the convening of the forum not only enhanced the understanding of the masses on malignant tumor screening and prevention, but also provided valuable health knowledge and practical methods for everyone, I believe that under the promotion of everyone, the screening and prevention of malignant tumors will be carried out more extensively, escorting the health of the masses.
