Since 2012, the national "Compass Project" archaeological summer camp model has begun to test the waters, and a variety of distinctive and all-encompassing themes have emerged one after another, allowing young people to experience the unique charm of Chinese culture in the archaeological summer camp.
On July 2nd, this year's National Compass Program Youth Base Archaeology Summer Camp officially opened! The theme of this archaeological summer camp is "Learning Ancient Art and Inheriting Etiquette - Tea Passing on the Ingenuity of the Ages", so let's go to the scene with Xiaohong.
In order to promote the educational value of the activity, this year's summer camp has carried out the development of project-based learning around "I am the curator of the Little Tea Expo", and the campers will complete the project-based learning through the process of consulting materials, thinking about problems, establishing study groups, field trips, and displaying results, and set up real situations through the entry activities to stimulate campers to understand tea culture, explore Chinese tea etiquette, and absorb the essence of culture and art.

After the opening ceremony, the second-level camp of this archaeological summer camp was also opened. The Level 2 campers are outstanding campers selected from nearly 200 Level 1 campers. In the second-level camp activities, campers need to complete the learning task of making tea-themed canvas cultural and creative bags.
The teachers first built learning scaffolds for students to help them understand the task and clarify their ideas, and then drew a creative printing sketch of the "tea-theme" rucksack according to the project-based task list, and completed the distinctive literary and creative works under the guidance of the task list.
In the tea fun small theater session, after the campers understood the three elements of drama, they created and interpreted the script through group activities and division of labor. This second-level camp activity integrates the five educations through ingenious design, allowing campers to express creativity and wisdom in hands-on and brain-moving, and at the same time, it also examines students' hands-on ability, teamwork ability and expression ability in the activity.
The campers who have performed well in the second camp will enter the third camp and participate in the well-designed third camp route activities of the compass base on July 9th, 10th and 11th, and win the final ultimate camp place.
